This was an amazing experience outside of city life. The accommodation is well equipped with insect repellents to make your stay even that more comfortable. The scenery is beautiful and the unique stays are romantic, cozy and intimate. Definitely will be back again. This could definitely be our Valentines Day home đ„°đ„°
My mom and I stayed at Kokiville Homestead for one night to celebrate her birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience! We stayed in "Patsy," the stunningly converted old school bus, which was cozy and comfortable with a touch of luxury. It is equipped with a double bed, en-suite bathroom, and kitchenette.
Some of the highlights of our stay were the food garden, where we picked and ate some juicy figs, exploring the propertyâs charming footpaths, known as the Snail Trail, the sensory garden at night with all it's cute solar garden lights & wind chimes and the enchanting Fairy Garden!
We had SO much fun searching for all the hidden fairies scattered throughout the garden. The creativity and detail put into the experience were truly magical! Despite our best efforts, there was one fairy we couldnât findâeven after going back the next morning to look again. But it gives us a reason to return, as we are determined to complete our fairy hunt!
The hosts, Gavin and Janine's
passion for nature and self-sufficient living was evident throughout the property, and their hospitality and our interesting conversations made our stay even more memorable.
The peaceful bushveld setting, complete with stunning views and the sounds of nature, made it a perfect retreat. Despite its serene setting, it is situated just 10 minutes away from Nelspruit and easily accessible with any vehicle.
I HIGHLY recommend Kokiville Homestead for anyone looking for a unique and rejuvenating getaway, it was honestly my best 'sleepover' ever! I can't wait to come back for another visitâboth to relax and to solve the mystery of the missing fairy!

We loved staying in the tipi â a real camping experience but with more creature comforts (including great WiFi) and no need to pitch a tent! We loved the incredible views, the amazing birds, the vegetation, the outdoor bath, and the lovely walks. Janine and Gavin are wonderful hosts and have created something truly special with Kokiville. Do be prepared for extreme heat in summer â the tent includes a big fan but I recommend bringing a handheld fan, lots of cold drinks, and a cooler box with plenty of ice đ

Thank you for this lovely review Heather! It was so good having you stay with us! We loved spending some time with you and Thorsten! Thank you for adding to our picture collection! WE love to see the things that guests find interesting. The Tipi is not an easy space to take pictures of inside but you have done a great job! Thank you!
It was an absolute pleasure having you here!

We had a great stay! The snail trail is such an amazing added bonus. You can see a lot of hard work and love went into the whole small-holding. The bus was very clean and neat and had everything we needed and more. Would definitely recommend to our family and friends and visit again when we are in the area.
This place is magical, Janine and Gavin are one of the most amazing hosts ever come across. The place is an adventurers dream home, itâs peaceful safe and structured yet freeing. Itâs beautiful inside and out, quirky and functional. In summery itâs a resting place for the soul, we left feeling so renewed and rejuvenated. Everyone should experience Patsy at least once in their life.
Janine and Gavin were the warmest of hosts. The Pasty (Bus) offered sublime furnishing with intricacies that allowed intimacy in a small but freeing space. The environment itself was natures tapestry. If you want to know why the beginning of man kind was in a garden. Visit. If you are looking for an escape from everything else in life. Visit. If you want a unique and intimate experience visit. Youâd love it. I know my partner and I sure loved it.
We were at the bus for my husband's surprise birthday and he was pleasantly surprised. We loved the entire experience, the place sparks creativity without even trying, it bring peace and tranquility. We will definitely do it again, with the kids next time! we really loved the experience, and the birds singing is beautiful đ. Definitely 10/10.
Tranquil area to visit if you want to get out and see something else around Mbombela. You will need a vehicle with a bigger ground clearance to get there though

Thank you for the review! Amazingly enough we have had many guests with low vehicles like Audi TT, Ford Mustang, Chevy Spark. In fact most of our guests have very normal cars. We hope to see you again at one of our events!
