All our bedrooms have walk-in shower, except our Hummingbird Bridal Suite which was occupied during your stay. This would have also come at an extra cost. Kind regards, Reception
Beautiful location, comfy stay.
☺ Beautiful spotlessly clean room and very well cooked breakfast. It was very quiet when we stayed so not a huge choice of continental. Full English and Smoked salmon were excellent. top choice of TV channels. Lovely lady attending to us at breakfast.
☹ The stairs to upper rooms a bit slippy. Couldn't figure out heating but it wasn't too cold. Approach road desperately needs attention. Hotter tea and coffee at breakfast please.

Very poor communication! We had to chase up for the answer our every question. We had to wait a few days for the reply from event team. We wanted to book a room for our event next year and we booked a viewing appointment. we viewed the ballroom and we were happy to hire. The date was free. After a few days awaiting their reply they came back with this: "Kingfisher will be under new management before your event in 2025 and the new company is saying it will not be honouring any bookings that are in the diary."
Be careful if looking for to hire their venue or if you already have a booking with them!
Dear event team, why you wasted our almost 3 weeks of time for useless and not responsive conversation from your end! We could have booked another venue which is now gone!

I'm sorry you feel the service and communications were poor, however we could not confirm any bookings as we are tenants and we have been given notice, so we could not confirm any bookings until the situation was clear. we have notified all our customers and we have refunded all deposits and these circumstances are beyond our control.
