We made a reservation for a fun thing to do for my husband’s birthday. Killinit confirmed and we were very excited. We got there 15 minutes early as instructed on the website. We called and texted with no response to either. I hope the owner is okay. My friend recommended this business highly. I’m glad her experience was good.

Avoid this place. I chose this place because it seemed like you could reserve kayaks ahead of time. Upon arrival, no one was there and no one answered their phone, despite the signage. Another party showed up at the same time and had the same experience. After waiting 30 minutes past the original time, I decided to go to Dustys Landing instead. Killinit is certainly not killing it except their reputation.
This place joke. We drove all the way from Circleville to rent kayaks and we had reservations and no one was there and no one would answer the phone. Stood around and waited an hour and got no where.Thanks for nothing and wasting are time and energy! Had to give one star just to rate you,but really it a zero. Just got a text back finally and said they were closed do to the parade yet it never said anything online. We found a place to rent . Thanks also update your picture because it don't look anything like this. Mow your lawn.

Poor business etiquette. They responded to our email by text at 1130pm. Then the day of we showed up no one was there, the open sign was on with a number to call. we called the number and no response the mailbox was full. After waiting awhile we left. They never called us back and we never received a call, text or email asking us about why we "didn't show up for our reservation"
I made a reservation the night before. Admittedly it was late, but the time before I had placed the reservation the morning of and had no issues. So I placed the reservation for 11 am today. They open at 10. I texted the contact number letting them know I hadn’t received a confirmation or declination yet. They read my text and ignored me. I called and they didn’t answer. My friend called and they didn’t answer her. They never confirmed or denied my reservation in time for me to make it to their 10-15 minutes before 11 requirement. In fact, they never responded AT ALL. My friend then made a reservation for 12 and again they completely ghosted her as well. So we went to somewhere else that had MUCH higher quality and comfier kayaks, the custom service was impecable - they literally clean out every kayak prior to use and set you in it and push you into the water. I had gone to KillinIt one time before this and we waited 10-15 minutes AFTER our reservation time to get going. I’ll probably never go again. They are absolutely NOT killin it with their kayaks.

High traffic Lake kayak rentals - and kayaks definitely showed wear (No/busted seats, no feet rests, no storage cover etc). Booking was cumbersome with several steps involved and still we ended up waiting :45 after prescribed arrival time. Reasonable prices, easy access to Turkeyfoot Lake, staff responsive to phone calls.
