Kids Academy Darra has been absolutely amazing for our little one. The educators are so caring and lovely (special shoutout to Miss Kathryn and Miss Lillian!!). The centre director (Miss Shikha) was incredible and always helpful and friendly. The whole team made our adjustment into day care easy for our family. We are so lucky to have had an incredible time there - we are so sad to leave (due to relocating) but would recommend Kids Academy Darra to anyone and everyone!!

Childcare or Child factory? I visited this place on a tour to see if it would be a good fit for my young son. Unfortunately, I saw nothing but oven-baked chicken nuggets, grotty nappies and soft-parenting. Won't be back.

Our daughter joined Kids Academy Darra in the new year.
From booking a tour to enrolling to our daughter attending, the process has been easy.
Our daughter has settled in well and is enjoying attending.
Her teacher and educators make sure to engage with us every afternoon on pick up to tell us how her day has been.
Definitely happy with our choice!

My daughter is extremely happy at Kid's Academy! We have been there for about 5 weeks now and she is thriving! Her speech and development has improved dramatically. She is always singing new songs and telling me new words and sayings.
She is now coming home and asking for the toilet!
Miss Alicia is absolutely incredible with my daughter. We are lucky to have her! she supported us getting rid of the dummy (as annoying as the nagging can be!)
Each day I see updates from the day with photos of my little one.
My daughter doesn't cry on drop off and is happy to get involved in her day.

Didn’t regret moving my son from this Center this year. As a mum who don’t drop off and pick up my son in kindy, I love how updated they are on their storypark app specially on their meals and routines everyday. My son is obviously having fun in the center (I can see in the photos) tho he’s still crying when his dad drops him off but Educators ensures that he’s safe with them.

My Child was in Julie's kindy class who suffered 2 significant facial injuries leading to permanent scarring with no incident reports or any form of communication, even when the centre was emailed about the incident as the staff had no idea on the day with no reply.
We had informed multiple staff members of the ongoing situation and they were fully aware of the child which was harming the students.
There are only really two staff members who are active on the playground floor with the kids, the rest are sitting around talking.
I am not sure how the lead educator Julie can still be practicing. After the 2nd facial injury also with no incident report or communication. I spoke to Julie again she said that for an incident report to be conducted by her, the child will need to come and tell her, Julie and I had told my child of this moving forward. My child approached her later in the day as the same child had badly scratched him on his leg. No incident report was conducted, no communication with parents again. The centre says that it requires multiple hoops to jump through with HR for actions to be taken, so assume nothing will be done.
Julies response when confronted about the incident, ‘it looked like an old scratch. I didn’t witness it’. No questions asked to my child about the incident. Another staff member had to put a band aid on as it was obviously bleeding. Upon further investigation, a report should had been written if a band aid is placed on a child, this was also not conducted. This lack of response and turning my child away when he needed help is negligent and a failed duty of care and trust, especially when he was told to confine in Julie when he was attacked again on the same day. This is evidently an unsafe environment for your children and I withdrew my child the next day with the centre also agreeing to wave the 4 weeks notice period.
It is unfortunate that the lead educator who plays such a crucial part in the children’s learning and growing to behave in such a manor, even rolling her eyes multiple times during discussion about the matter and saying what's the problem in front of centre management.

Our child has joined Babies 1 at Kids academy Darra since October last year and so far our experience has been positive. At first I was worried with how my child will adjust in daycare setting but the staffs at Kids academy Darra are very professional and now my baby is doing well there. We would like to give a shout out to the lead educators in his class: Ms Lilian and Ms Karie. They have gone above and beyond to make sure that our son is in great care. Under their lead we have observed great improvements in his sleeping and feeding habbit, which were challenging initially. Thank you for always being warm and taking good care of baby D. We also love the variety of the activities that are arranged for the babies that encourage their creativities and stimulate their brains. Keep up the good work! Also thanks to Ms Melissa and Ms Anna who also have helped D to thrive at Kids academy Darra!

LOVE this centre. The staff here are all incredible, lovely people. Every morning we get there we're greeted with such warmth and enthusiasm. It was really hard for me to leave my baby there initially as a new mum, but they've really made me feel comfortable and safe and they love my bubba. They've also been really helpful in accommodating our daily schedule to help with our routine. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough positive things about Kids Academy Darra my child attends here 5 days a week. The educators have been incredibly supportive in managing my child's medical requirements when required showing compassion and support going above and beyond to ensure that my child's needs are met, and their dedication is truly commendable. I am so grateful for their help and guidance.
Not only are the educators helpful, but they also create a warm and inviting environment for all of the children. My child is always happy in their care. Drop off’s can be challenging early in the morning, but they ensure he is comforted and feels safe, secure and supported. They understand the importance of providing a nurturing and stimulating environment, and it truly shows.
The management from the very beginning of the take over from Kids Club to Kids Academy, have been incredibly supportive and responsive to our needs. They are always approachable and willing to listen to any concerns or suggestions we have. I couldn’t thank Kylie and Mel enough for always understanding and assisting my family.
I highly recommend Kids Academy Darra to any family looking for a place where their child's needs are prioritised and where they can thrive. Thank you to the amazing team for everything you do!

This centre is welcoming and supportive of special needs children, with a very kind and inclusive attitude from the staff and management. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate and understand our ASD child’s needs, accepting him immediately. This is unfortunately not the experience we had at other centres, so we are very appreciative of Darra Kids Academy.
The Facility is modern and clean and the rooms are well equipped, we can definitely recommend it.

Choosing Kids Academy- Darra for my daughter has been an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and positivity. Kids Academy Darra is a wonderful centre. The staff are always friendly and professional while ensuring the childrens needs are always met. My son has attended the centre for the last 2 years and although the business is now under new ownership with a new management team, I have found the change for the better. The new director Kylie and her 2ic Mel, are extremely helpful and attentive to our families needs and requirements.
In the time we have been here there has been a few changes in educators moving closer to their homes or leaving for family commitments but extra care has been taken selecting the new educators who have joined the centre and they have made the transition a smooth and lovely one for our little man.

My daughter (almost) 2 years old has been going to here since she was 8 months old. The teachers and staff are always amazing, so approachable and professional. They’ve been incredible in my daughter’s growth and development. I can tell my daughter’s teachers Miss Chantel and Miss Maddy truly adore her and take great care of her. Miss Alicia and Miss Mel is also another huge favourite of my daughters. I know because each morning she puts her arms out for the teacher. You can even login on their parents portal and check on your lil ones. I think that speaks volumes of the care provided.

As a mother of 4 kids I wanted some place where I feel my kids are safe. I originally had my 3 year old in a different daycare for 2 days from her first birthday. I got a job near this daycare and thought it wouldn't hurt to see how it goes here. I put my 1 year old in here for 5 days and my 3 year old in for the rest of the week she wasn't at her other daycare because she had a connection with her other educators and didn't want to take her away from that. But my family member left the other daycare and I decided to put her in for 5 days aswel. The staff have been really awesome with helping her transition from 3 day to 5 days with no problem. The staff are lovely and I now consider them my second family with how they look after my 2 youngest kids. They have help with my 3 year old's speech, toilet training and her separation. If I have any concerns or worries I know I can talk to them especially the manager to help me and my kids needs to make them happy and keep them safe. The manager is always there to answer any questions or concerns I have and always answers the phone when I call to see how they are. My kids are fuzzy eaters at home and say they don't like things but have gotten pictures sent to me from the manager saying that they are eating everything they are given so I don't need to worry. They always update the app on everything my kids have done throughout the day (daughters old daycare didnt). I would recommend this place
