Julie was warm and compassionate, kept me up to date with everything and supported my family above and beyond what was expected. Kevin was knowledgeable and able to answer every question I had.
While we needed them, at every point I felt we were in the best hands. No detail was too small and both Julie and Kevin had some creative and generous solutions for small details which made all the difference in the end.

The most difficult call I have had to make was to make an appointment with a Funeral Director, not knowing what to expect whilst worrying I was doing the best I could for my mam and of course dealing with the loss. After my first call with Moxon’s, I knew I was doing the best for my mam, and that I was in professional, caring, and sympathetic hands.
Julie somehow was able to provide exceptional customer service whilst being able to be truly empathic. Knowing what to say at the right time and guiding you through the process in a way that softens what you are doing. Kevin prepared for and led the service with compassion whilst showing his true professionalism.
It is not just a job to Moxon’s, they genuinely care and ensure you feel supported, safe, and involved throughout.

I didn’t really know where to start with this review. I don’t think any words could do my experience with Moxons justice.
Firstly, I would like to personally thank Julie the Hull branch manager. Julie has been nothing but incredible since the moment I first spoke to her on the phone.
My mam sadly passed away unexpectedly in Hull. I don’t live in Hull anymore so I thought that it would be very hard to organise my mams funeral from a different city. How wrong I was. Julie offered such flexibility on every aspect of the arrangements for me including telephone calls, FaceTimes, out of office hours email responses. Julie explained everything we needed to know in such a detailed but kind way which made the process that tiny bit easier for us given the circumstances. When I first spoke to Julie over the phone she even went out of her way to find my mams younger brothers grave for me (this was before I even chose to use Moxons) I just knew straight away I wanted Julie to look after my mam.
When Moxons brought my mam into their care Julie rang me straight away to say that my mam was safe within her care - this was something that I had a lot of anxiety about due to the recent funeral home news. Julie made my mam look beautiful and peaceful. She took great care of my mam, she kept me in the loop with everything which kept my mind at rest throughout the process. When I visited my mam at their chapel of rest I was really emotional and somewhat scared - Julie held my hand every step of the way to make me feel as comfortable as possible during a very difficult time.
Kevin Moxon was kindly our celebrant for my mams funeral. The service he provided was to the highest standard, he spoke really well about my mams life and made sure every single detail we wanted went into her service. Thank you again Kevin.
I will never forget my experience with Moxons but more specifically with Julie. I will forever be grateful and thankful to Julie for everything she has done for me, my mam and my family. Losing someone that you love is such a huge life event that cripples you in so many ways but having a professional like Julie supporting, guiding and caring for not just your loved one but for you as well has made this awful time slightly less daunting for me and my family. I feel very honoured to have met such a beautiful soul like Julie even if it was through bad circumstances. I will never forget you Julie. (Ps, Kevin I think a pay rise is in order for Julie 😜)

I'm not ill, but I went to see Kevin to discuss my funeral plan...I just wanted to future proof that event to protect family members from that particular trauma.
I had some definite requests that I wanted incorporated, but I wasn't sure of the specifics of that.
Due to his intuitive, calm, warm and empathetic approach ..it all came together.
I'm totally confident that come the (hopefully distant) day, Kevin will do me proud and my wishes will be actualised.
