My car had been sitting in my garage for over a year. It had a fair bit wrong with it & I knew I was going to be paying a fair bit to get it sorted. I had used Auto Tech’s services in the past where Jimmy was a proper legend & even discounted labour in the past due to a key issue (which wasn’t even their fault) so of course I decided to head back there. Great customer service (receptionist is great!), super speedy repairs, very transparent with costs associated & kept me in the loop at all times. Car repairs are expensive, but the work they did & the guarantees they make are so worth it. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough! They even cleaned my car before I picked it up!

Came for a noise i thought was funny in 5th gear in my Subaru liberty 2005. When i visited Ringwood Auto Tech it was advised i pay for a new manual transmission as it was stated that my clutch was faulty. I had already had my manual transmission replaced not even 2 years ago. Visited my local trusted mechanic who assured me my clutch is fine and working efficently. A mechanic at Ringwood Auto Tech said my clutch peddle was hard to push down but this proved to be false as there is no issue pushing my clutch down whatsover and have no issue changing gears. I will not be going back here.
Jimmy and the team were great. They were professional, fast and honest. I have had both my cars serviced (one with a last minute RWC) with the team and I will continue to use there advice and servicing!

Really appreciate Tim and Jimmy's expertise when purchasing my second hand Mazda 3. Had them complete the roadworthy and am really impressed by all the safety concerns that were noted that I couldn't see. They were so prompt and thorough in the roadworthy and work done. My car was fine had no issue before I dropped it here for service and RWC and after I drove it back home it was making some weird sounds everytime I put in reverse it makes loud squeaky sounds can be heard like two houses away I paid almost a grand here and that’s what I got also they will kinda force you to change windeshield wiper even if your old ones are perfectly fine

First time go there, booked an air conditioning service at morning, their staff are very friendly, and they do the work quick and high quality. Very recommend!

I took my car to Ringwood Auto Tech for a road worthy. They found an issue with the car stalling. They proposed a solution and $1000 later we thought it was fixed. 3 weeks later the issue arrose once again. I took it to another mechanic and this time they ran the scan tool and found error codes dating back to when the problem first occured. It turns out that the solution implemented by Ringwood Auto Tech didn't actually address the problem at all. I am now $1000 out of pocket with an issue that is going to cost a further $1600 to be fixed properly. I highly encourage anyone who considers taking their vehicles for servicing to Ringwood Auto Tech that they think twice about it.

Hi Daniel, whilst we welcome all feedback, we find your review grossly inaccurate, and indeed defamatory. Our records show that you first presented your Jeep for roadworthy early August at which time you were issued with a 1st inspection report (valid 14 days) detailing multiple defect items. You returned a week later to rectify only 2 of the defect items. Our records show you returned for a new roadworthy inspection on your Jeep in early September, as you would expect the original defects were again highlighted and you accepted our quotation for repair, the repairs were completed including the park neutral switch component $788 inc. labour, which rectified the stalling/starting issue and the roadworthy certificate was issued.

2010 Pathfinder had a problem with brakes after 3 attempts elsewhere Jimmy was right onto it. Repaired it a timely manner keeping me posted re cost with clear explanation of required work. All staff very friendly & helpful. Will be back for regular servicing of all our family cars.
