We are from Sri Lanka and we had booked a 5 days trip with KDT. We highly recommend KDT for everyone. They provided transportation and accommodation and the car and room were above my expectations and the houseboat too. They are really responsible and we overwhelmed by their hospitality. They arranged a guide/driver who can speak English very well, that’s really helped and he explained local culture to us. and The tour organizer Sajad is very nice and trustworthy person. Thank you KDT for making our Kashimir trip unforgettable sweet memory. Again I highly recommend KDT

It was a wonderful experience in Kashmir for us, and it's largely due to KDT. E erything was arranged perfectly well including hotels, transport, Shikara ride, houseboats and most importantly the point persons. They were extremely courteous, responsible and helpful. Would strongly recommend KDT for arranging a Kashmir travel.

Our trip for 8 people and 8 days and 7nights was coordinated by Kashmir Downtown Travels. We started from Srinagar, then went to Pehelgam, then to Gulmarg and Sonmarg and came back to Srinagar. Stayed in a house boat for one night. Downtown travels booked the best hotels with all amenities. The price they charged was to our information and research by far the lowest. Beautiful hotels with breakfast and dinner in the package in such low cost was quite unbeatable. The only time we felt a bit uneasy was when our driver stopped at the boot shop at Gulmarg and said there will be no more shops nearby to our accomodation. But that wasn't right. We got boots the next day very near to our hotel. Our last abode was Hotel Royal Batoo at Srinagar. Was that a four star hotel?? I doubt because half the things were broken or was not working. But anyway, that is not the fault of Kashmir Downtown Travels. They made arrangements in the best possible abode. I would like to thank Mr. Sajjad for this amazingly coordinated trip planning. I would also like to recommend Downtown Travels.

Been on a trip to Kashmir between 10th to 17th April organized by Sajjad Bhai of Downtown Travels. I am very happy with the services and arrangements made for us. We did not face any issues or problems due to the extremely well organised tour. Sajjad Bhai was always a call away for us whenever we needed. I highly recommend Kashmir Downtown Travels to everyone. 👍

We, a group of eight friends from Hyderabad, had availed Kashmir Downtown Travel's services for our travel to Kashmir during 10th to 17th April 2021. We got Sajjad-bhai's (owner of Kashmir Downtown Travel) contact number from a travel group in Facebook, and he was very responsive and courteous from the begining. We called him many times to clarify doubts or to seek info (both before and during travel), and he was always ready to help. Our travel was for 7 nights 8 days, and short itinerary was given below. From picking us up from Srinagar Airport till we got dropped at airport again, a vehicle (Tempo Traveller) was with us. The package included stays (with breakfast and dinner included), all transfers, and Shikara ride at Srinagar. Entry tickets for various places, pony-rides at Baisaran (Pahalgam) and Gulmarg, Gandola at Gulmarg etc. were excluded from the package. Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar airport. Transfer from Airport to Houseboat. At evening, Shikara ride at Dal Lake (which is an experience in itself). Day 2: After breakfast, check-out from Houseboat and started towards Pahalgam. Went to Avantipoora ruins (very less tourists go there; go if you are interested in history), apple orchard en-route. After reaching Pahalgam, had lunch at a restaurant near Pahalgam Taxi stand, and then hired a taxi to go to Aaru Valley and Betab Valley (tourist vehicles are not allowed here, you need to hire union cabs from Taxi stand). Visited Aaru and Betab Valley, and then checked into hotel. Day 3: After breakfast, went to Pahalgam taxi stand and hired ponies to go to Baisaran. Baisaran is called Mini-switzerland, and has really mesmerizing beauty. Only thing is- the pony-ride is scary (especially while coming down) and not recommended for old people or faint-hearted people. After this, we hired a union cab and went to Betaab Valley and Chandanwadi (we went to Betab Valley again as the previous day was a rainy one, and we couldn’t enjoy the views much). Evening stay at Pahalgam. Day 4: After breakfast, started for Gulmarg. It takes approximately 5-6 hours from Pahalgam to Gulmarg. We had lunch on the way, and after reaching Gulmarg, explored the green valley by walking. Day 5: At morning, we we t tofr Gandola ride (for both the phases). Amazing experience. After Gandola ride, had lunch and started for Soanmarg. Reached Soanmarg by 6PM, and checked in to the hotel. Day 6: Initial plan was to explore Soanmarg at morning, but we witnessed heavy snowfall (which was also a good experience) and decided to go to Srinagar instead. Reached Srinagar, and watched Hazratbal Dargah and Rozabal mazar. Checked into hotel at afternoon, and then went for shopping. Day 7: Full day sightseeing at Srinagar. We had seen Tulip Garden, Chashme Shahi, Pari Mahal, Shalimar Bagh. Went to Laal Chowk for lunch and marketing. Day 8: After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drop at Srinagar airport. We stayed at following hotels- Kolu Palace Houseboat at Srinagar, Srichan Resort at Pahalgam, Hotel Affarwat at Gulmarg, Hotel Divine Inn at Soanmarg, and Hotel Royal Batoo at Srinagar. All the hotels are at excellent locations, and their room qualities, amenities, and service were top-notch. We didn’t expect this quality of hotels at the price we paid!! Food served was also excellent (we had overeaten at almost all meals) at all places. Only guffaw was- the hotel at Soanmarg didn’t have central heating (and Soanmarg was the coldest places among these 4 places we visited). Sajjad-bhai helped us with itinerary setting, and at every juncture whenever we needed any clarification or information. Overall, we had a great and hassle-free trip, thanks to Kashmir Downtown Travels. (P.S. I had written thia review from my smartphone, so please execuse for typos and spell-errors, if any.)

Firstly, I would like to thank you for organizing such a wonderful and delightful trip for me & my senior citizen group. Our tour organizer in Srinagar, Sajjad is such a gem. He knows the way around and such a pleasant guy. The hotels which were recommended to us were very good and so were the houseboats Overall, me & my group are very pleased with your service and will definitely contact you for future trips. We had booked a eight night trip of Srinagar, Gulmarg , Pahalgam, Yuzmarg and Aharbal with Kashmir Downtown Travels. We were totally blown away by their hospitality and warmth, their constant efforts to make us feel safe and help us enjoy the local culture of Kashmir. Our driver bhaiya Hameed, treated us to local dishes like Harissa, namkeen chai and also walked with us showing us the local dargahs and sights of Srinagar. We felt so like family with them, loved their company and would recommend everyone to take up their services. They constantly follow up to make sure everything is in place and most importantly that you feel fine with everything. They also take the extra effort to make you feel fulfilled about the trip, we changed our last Destination from sonmarg to Yuzmarg in the last minute and they happily accommodated the same without any issue. With them.around, not only did we feel.safe but we actually could tick mark our entire bucket list of Kashmir in the bestest of places..thank you guys for such an amazing and memorable time.
