Derek is fantastic - he can be relied upon entirely, is very responsive, and clearly loves all animals! I couldn’t recommend him highly enough!

Derek continues to provide us with excellent, reliable and accommodating service. Derek knows exactly what our Freddie loves to do and allows him to do so under careful supervision. Freddie goes bananas whenever he sees Derek’s car pull up outside our house and runs to the door to greet him. We thank the day we discovered Derek and hope he continues to say yes whenever we ask for his excellent service.

We use Derek mostly for his dog walking services and Wilson, our GSD loves him. We always get a video of his walks and an update on how he has been on his walks too. We would recommend Derek to anyone needing a regular or sporadic dog walker.

Derek is an absolutely brilliant Dog Walker. Extremely professional, very reliable and has an excellent app which tracks all of your dog’s walks. He has also been incredibly kind and compassionate with our puppy. She's not the easiest of pooches (reactive, woofy) but Derek has gone above and beyond to build a solid relationship with her and she now absolutely adores him. We trust him implicitly and would be completely lost without him. Thank you, Derek.

Derek has looked after our two dogs and has been happy to tailor his services to their very different needs. Will happily continue using and highly recommend to anyone looking for non-group based dog walks and dog sitting.

Derek took care of our two lively and somewhat anxious older dogs for three days while we went away on a short break. As he had not taken care of our dogs before, he visited twice (at no cost) to get to know them and us beforehand, which was very much appreciated. Derek visited the dogs up to four times a day, as we had arranged. The dogs positively thrived under his care. He walked, fed, played and interacted with them and sent us regular updates (including videos) which was great. He clearly is a true dog-lover. The dogs greeted us happily when we got back, and it was clear that they had been well looked after in our absence. I would have no hesitation in asking Derek to look after our dogs again or recommending K9 Time to others.

Derek provides a fantastic service. Our dog absolutely loves him, Derek is very accommodating to our needs and the online platform Derek uses makes booking a walk so east and strait forward. Derek also leaves a report on how the walk went with some photos and these always brighten my day when I see them at work!

We were in need of a dog walker for our 11 year old boy during the week, as he has a tendency to spend his days asleep on the sofa where he can whilst we’re at work. Derek came into Hugo’s life on recommendation from a work colleague, and he hasn’t been quite the same since. Gone is our lazy, grumpy boy and in his place is a younger, more social good boy - we are convinced this is due to the midday adventures he has with Derek. The updates on the app we receive from Derek post walk are fantastic and do wonders for my guilt, as I know not only what route Hugo’s adventure took him, but the pictures and videos of Derek and Hugo interacting on their walks put my mind at ease and I know he is having a good sniff (of every tree he comes across, sorry Derek) and there won’t be any accidents when we get home (thankfully Derek tracks that too for you!) Using the app to schedule Derek couldn’t be easier, and we were pleasantly surprised that he was able to look after Hugo at short notice on a Saturday when we had to leave town for the day - Hugo in particular! We could go on but should probably end on how grateful we are that Derek has given Hugo some of his bounce back. We are due to welcome a puppy to the fold in the next fortnight and are hoping he’ll be able to help do the opposite with the ball of furry energy heading our way!

Derek at K9 Time is the best dog-carer we could wish for – reliable, trustworthy and very caring. Our Belle is a loving and fun vizsla but also strong and reactive so we were looking for someone who would be fine with her complex (demanding!) nature, and we really couldn’t wish for a more caring and patient person. Derek has taken care of Belle a few times, including daily care and longer stays, and we know that she will be well looked after and given lots of attention. He sends pictures and updates regularly and that makes us feel even more comfortable leaving Belle in his hands. We can certainly recommend Derek to other dog owners and will be booking again. Derek has walked our 2 dogs on a number of occasions. We have been really pleased with his flexibility and helpfulness in coming to walk them, particularly at short notice. The dogs seem to like him a lot. He is trustworthy and always communicates promptly.
