A quaint wooden building with an assortment of baked goods. Cinnamon Buns are delicious. Date and oatmeal cookies. All pies are equally as good. Super for entertaining.

The apple, blueberry, and rhubarb fritters are absolutely amazing! They are the best I have ever had. I brought them home, and to friends as gifts many times, and they disappear as fast, as they appear. There are so many great baked goods at this Bakery to buy just South of Union Bay. An easy stop just off of the old Island highway.

我们是跟着一个生态旅行团一起来这边的，路上的时候就听来过的团员一直说要来买这个奶奶面包，我心想想能有多好吃？值得特地来岛上还要买？下车的时候觉得就这？这么个小店？虽然确实很可爱吧，面包和提供的点心看着也很普通啊，完全是平平无奇，而且面包还是冷冻的……我当时心想，面包冷冻完还咋吃啊？但抱着来都来了的心态，还是买了一包小餐包尝尝看，乍一吃只觉得味道风格很古早，自然解冻后的面包并没有预期的干硬，非常的柔软。但也不知道为啥，这个味道就越吃越上头，甚至这个面包放在酒店房间里就如同香氛一样，散发着淡淡的酵母香气，完全真香了！
所以我们一行人在回去的那天，请我们的领队老师又帮我们预定了好大一批各种面包带走，其实她家的曲奇和派也做得很好，是非常自然的本味，但对于我这个在中国人里面也不太能吃甜的人
来说，还是有点太甜了，所以没有买。

Very bad phone conversation lady wouldnt listen and said 1/3 cup of sugar is ok for a diabetic iwont give my buisness again

We understand that as a diabetic, managing your sugar intake is crucial. Our pies contain 1/3 cup of sugar, which is approximately 83 grams for the entire pie. While this amount can fit within the daily recommended limit for many diabetics, we understand that individual needs vary.
Regarding your request for a custom-made pie with half the sugar amount, I apologize for any confusion about our timeline. While we can prepare a pie off our menu from our freezer in two hours, a custom pie requires more preparation time. We can certainly make your pie with reduced sugar, but we would need a bit more time to ensure it meets your specifications. I suggested having it ready next week during our regular pie-making schedule, but I understand this wasn't convenient for you.
We value your business and would be happy to discuss further how we can better meet your needs in the future. Please feel free to contact us directly, and we will do our best to find a solution that works for you.

I loved everything about this place. It felt like going over to a friendly neighbor’s house and coming away with some home cooking. Best macaroons I’ve ever had, crispy on the surface and delicately moist inside. The Nanaimo cookie was a dessert by itself. And, the Black Russian Rye bread was perfection. My highest recommendation.

What a great little find! So many home baked goodies in a tiny place. Amazing little setup. Besides ready made there's a good selection of take and bake pies, pizza dough, soup, lasagna . Too many items to mention. Worth the drive to Union Bay!

*Now takes credit/debit cards* Absolutely my new favourite bakery! Discovered for the first time with a friend and I'm hooked! The Lemon Meringue pie is absolute heaven, the macaroons are exactly how I love them and the Ginger cookie was the perfect amount of spice, chew and happiness! I can't wait to go back for more and the little place is the cutest little bakery ever! Thank you!
