I called this firm for help with a non-molestation order. The woman who answered the phone was rude and unhelpful. At first, she said they could assist if it was an ex-partner, but when I confirmed it was, she suddenly said no. Every time I asked a question, she kept putting me on hold. The last time, she put me on hold without even telling me and continued the call in the same rude manner when she returned.
People in situations like mine are already distressed, and her misinformation and attitude made it much worse. She clearly needs further training in dealing with vulnerable clients. Very poor customer service — I would not recommend this firm.

Michael Jordan dealt with a commercial property we bought, the purchase was ok, until we decided to sell it. And the title at land registry hadn’t been changed. We requested them to have it expedited fast tracked. This firm couldn’t be bothered to deal with it in a timely manner even another solicitor was asking for information. Same old story once you pay the after sale drops off. I even put in a formal complaint which was a waste of time.
They will probably say it was dealt with in a timely manner I’d like to get in first and say Once it’s Expedited it takes 10 days at land registry…. It took Jordan’s two months well done.!!!!
Overall this firm cost me over 10k in additional fees.
You have other solicitors on the door step, so be very careful who you choose.!!!
Thank you for your review Dave. It only touches on a small number of aspects of this transaction and my dealings with you. I don’t think it is appropriate to cover everything in a public forum like this but I would say a couple of things in reply.
Firstly, as you say, the purchase was “ok”. It was a very complex purchase so I think we did better than “ok” for you on that.
Secondly, I would always advise clients that are looking at buying in an Auction to seek advice before bidding at the Auction. In my experience clients that take advice before, rather than after have much better outcomes.
Thirdly, Land Registry take up to 18 months to deal with complex applications at the moment so if you are dealing with Bridging or other short term finance it is important to tell us early about any follow up transactions you are doing. On this occasion it wasn’t until after the re-mortgage application had been made that we were made aware that work was ongoing.

Had a good experience with Jordan’s Solicitor’s.
The only downfall is the app. It kept freezing and it wasn’t ever updated… it would have been nice to have this updated so I didn’t have to keep chasing the solicitor.
Response times were excellent at the start but slowly got worse as the sale progressed and I had to constantly email for updates despite me being told by the solicitor ‘they’d be in contact’.
As a first time buyer, we were new to the process and I didn’t feel like there was any explanation about the process. There were a few delays towards the end of the sale which I didn’t understand and had to ask for this to be explained to me.
Other than that we had a good experience.
I would use Jordan’s solicitor’s again.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!! All other people there were nice but I had the misfortune of speaking with Michael Jordan himself. Was shocked at how rude and utterly unprofessional he was! I was paying his firm a lot of money yet he decided to talk to me like dirt as if I was wasting his precious time by simply asking him to do the job his firm had been employed to do on the date they had promised to do it. I feel sorry for the people who work for him, he is clearly a bully and has zero empathy or care for anyone else.

Really disappointing experience. Jordan’s failed to act in interest of us and took the side of an estate agent showing where the loyalties were - despite the estate agents jeopardizing a sale on purpose. Avoid if you are using them through a referred estate agent.
