If you do not want your stuff broken or have incompetent and ignorant people in your house don’t use this company. They don’t use bubble wrap they just wrap it in paper and toss it, they would not stop yelling in my house while my 1yr old son was asleep after they new I was putting him down for a nap, they packed up stuff we told them not to pack multiple times then were upset when we made them unpack it even after we had kept these items separated, they all gathered in our room to talk about video games and played on their phones, then proceeded to stack heavy boxes to the roof that almost ended up tipping over, if our son had been next to them and would’ve touched them they would’ve crushed him. Trust me the list goes on and on there are better moving company’s to rely on.

I've never bothered to leave a review before now, but the state that my belongings were left in from being assigned this company through a military move left us so dissatisfied I felt obligated to create a yelp account and leave the first review I've ever made on any kind of company or service. We were assigned this company through our military move, and the only decent part of it were the packers who adequately packed all of the non furniture items into boxes. After receiving our goods we discovered that our loaders did not take apart our bed fully, and left the entire base of the headboard connected and packed it into a couch container underneath a couch, which obviously completely snapped and broke the beam making the entire bed unuseable. It would have taken them maybe another 30 seconds to undo this. Instead of using any kind of insulating material they covered everything in only paper, and dragged and scraped every single piece in our bedroom set shearing the finish off of the edges of every single piece on the edges (this set being brand new and built in the room it was moved out of). This moving company we were forced to use has left us with thousands of dollars in repair and will not show the slightest concern or care with your items. Do not use at all costs if you have a choice.

When my movers came to put my items in the truck they did not have the crates. I had to go to the warehouse to watch them create and seal my items. One of the crates which Kevin (warehouse worker) tried to use for my things was really unstable and lop sided looked as if it was falling apart. He did re nail it so the crate was sturdy and fixed it. They wanted to try to get all my items to fit into two crates which almost worked but some bigger items needed to be placed in a half sized create. Kevin brought one that had a huge hole in the back and my mover (Trey) attempted to patch, which really didn't happen and Kevin told him he was doing to much which I felt very insulted he would tell him that as Trey was just ensuring my items would not be damaged which I appreciated. I believe this Kevin who works in the warehouse needs to be talked to as I'm sure I'm not the only person he gave zero care for the crates our HHG go into. I think he just gave more effort because I was actually present for my HHG being placed and sealed. Overall the packers which was Trey and Justin were phenomenal and my movers which was Trey and Romeo also did a impeccable job. Kevin needs to remember these things are our property and requires a create that will withstand the move and that we are still paying customers regardless if it comes out of our pocket or not. As stated the movers and packers were respectful and careful with items but Kevin is willing to just have our property damaged and mishandled. Im not just speaking on my behalf in this but fellow Service Member's. I am glad I spoke up and followed them to the warehouse to watch them creating as i believe the I would have received the half broken crate and it would have not been fixed. I really hope the crates with the hole in the back gets fixed before getting shipped to Hawaii as i really dont want my few items in there damaged.

We had an extremely poor experience with this company. They assured us that it would be easy and they'd take care of everything to safely move our property into our new home and set it all up its proper places. That did not happen at all. Our property was removed by a team that was in a hurry to get the job done which ended up causing wall and door damage to our house. The damage was eventually repaired. The inventory list they provided to check off the items was so unintelligible, we couldn't figure out what it referenced in spite of our boxes being marked with the contents. Once our property was taken to the warehouse, items that made no sense to be taken apart were. Our recliners haven't worked properly since. The screws for our dining table and a workshop stool were lost. Our entertainment center was also dismantled and while doing so, the parts were made useless. It's still sitting in pieces in our house since we don't know what to do with it. Since our property was the only contents on the semi, there was no reason to dismantle anything. When the movers delivered our property, they did not put it in the location indicated on the outside of the box; they put it wherever they found room and stacked fragile boxes on top of other fragile boxes. Several items were missing from the delivery but our claim was denied for these items. When we notified the company of the problems, we got "I'm sorry" and told to put in a claim which did nothing to rectify the situation. We received a check for items where we had a purchase receipt and picture and could find on the inventory list. This was a horrible experience and still bothers us. Their services and communication are not even adequate and the stress we experienced was overwhelming. .Attached are pictures of just a sample of the mess they left. I recommend against using this company if you value your property. Note: If there was a way to give negative stars, I would.

I had an excellent experience with Johnson Storage and Moving, and I want to specifically commend Paul and Thomas for their outstanding service. They were responsible for unloading my household goods, unpacking and rebuilding my furniture, and disposing of all boxes and trash. Paul and Thomas showed up right on time and worked efficiently throughout the entire process. Despite their speed, they were extremely careful to handle my belongings with care, ensuring that nothing was damaged. Their professionalism and attention to detail truly stood out. Even more unbelievable---I filed a complaint with BBB and Johnson had my complaint invalidated because my payment was to United Van Lines--even though it was Johnson's people billing us, and telling us the bank refused the first attempt because the amount was higher than our safety limit. Johnson is refusing to accept a single bit of responsibility for what their laborers did. I have no words. They are seriously everything that is wrong in this crazy world. Pushing blame onto others when it's all their own. Again DO NOT USE if you want your items to be assembled in your new home, or to be I damaged when they get there.

As stated in the "Rights and Responsibilities Manual" and the FMCSA's "Ready to Move" brochure that you received prior to your move, you should file a claim as soon as possible.
