I adopted Phantom (border collie) from Jindo Love Rescue and can't say enough good things about this rescue! Their hearts are in the right place and the care and concern they have for the babies is phenomenal! So many rescues here in the states are money hungry but not Jindo Love Rescue, they truly love these babies and put their all into running this rescue! I would highly recommend adopting from them and if I had room I would help rescue more of their fur babies! They have an amazing, well thought out process for adopting and from front to finish were extremely helpful! They really do feel like family and I will be forever thankful they saved Phantom and allowed me to adopt him. He's the best boy! Affectionate, intelligent and handsome 😍 If you can't adopt, please help Jindo Love Rescue with financial support! 💜 Thank you Jindo Love for allowing me to be Phantom's mom 🥰

I adopted the MOST loving corgi/jindo mix from JLR. My mother and sister adopted two Jindos from Korea and I knew it was my turn and it was then that I stumbled across Ducky’s post as he was available for adoption and looking for a home at only 2 months old. I expressed my initial interest through FB Messenger and I can’t tell you how organized and thorough the communication process was from the interview phase to actually receiving Ducky at JFK. It was the best decision ever and I really can’t thank JLR for coordinating the entire process in getting my baby boy halfway across the world safely to me. This organization has a heart made of gold and I’m so happy to have worked with such an amazing group! Highly recommend and can’t wait to adopt another one in the near future!

I adopted my girl from JLR in 2019. Everything was amazing. Communication about my girls temperment was exactly as described. I love my girl and couldnt be more thankful to JLR. Highly recommend.

There is such an abundance of care and love given to these dogs as well as a continued interest in their lives after adoption~ It is humbling to be a part of Jindo Love Rescue's efforts as adopters! We are welcoming our second dog through JLR because we had such a great experience with our first, and now couldn't imagine our lives without her! It is a wonderful cause (and group of amazing volunteers) to support, and Jindos (and the mixes!) are really wonderful, unique dogs.

Jindo Love Rescue is run by the most caring and dedicated team. They take their adoptions seriously and as an animal lover, I appreciate their discernment in the adoption process. They don't approve just anyone, nor should they. They are thorough in all ways and the level of care, love, and devotion they provide their dogs upon intake and through (and after) the adoption process is excellent!

When we were looking to adopt a dog, I went to Jindo Love Rescue because my sister-in-law had rescued her dog through them. I can't say enough about the care given to these dogs before they adopted. Through the application process, they were able to recommend some dogs which they thought would be a good fit. We adopted Marshmallow. She is such a loving, sweet dog, and to our surprise was completely house broken. She had all her medical records documenting all of her medical care. I have since recommended my friends to Jindo Love Rescue, and I would go through them again. Thank you, Jindo Love Rescue, for all you do!

We recently adopted Eevee (formerly Bindi), a two year old from JLR. Eevee, has survived numerous traumatic events, yet, she is the sweetest young lady. JLR, clearly loved her, took care of her & ensured that our family & home was the right match for her. Her records from Korea were impeccable & I trust that they did what they needed to do to make sure we were a match. We adore Eevee & when the time comes to add another member to the family, I will definitely have them help us find the best match.

Phenomenal experience with adopting Billy-Bob, our lil bundle of joy. The application process was streamlined with full transparency, and whenever I had a question, they responded immediately. I drove to JFK to pick up our furry pal and got frequent updates on his whereabouts. I felt comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. Even post-adoption, whenever I needed advice or help, they were always available to make sure Billy-Bob was well taken care of. Big shoutout to Su Jeong and Patti!

The interview process was more thorough than my husband’s green card interview 😅 it was intense, but we could tell this organization REALLY cared about their dogs well being and happiness. I was particularly worried about getting a new dog because we already have a rescue dog who is very shy, so I knew it was important for us to get a dog that could be sensitive to her needs too. JLR was so comprehensive in their assessment of our dog’s personality, and recommended a different dog than we originally requested. We followed their advice and have had our new baby for a little over two weeks now. The dogs have been getting along better than we had hoped! I am so grateful they took so much care in recognizing our dog’s needs and matching her so perfectly with her new sister! ❤️

Jindo Love did such an excellent job taking care of my Annie all throughout the adoption process. They are honest and caring, and are committed to the health and happiness of the dogs in their care. My 2 dogs both came from this rescue, and i couldn't be happier. This is a fantastic organization, that deeply cares about the dogs. They will go with the adopters every step of the process, the communication is superb and once you adopt, you join a wonderful, big, caring community of fellow adopters. Great experience overall. I cannot express how much we truly love Jindo Love Rescue! This past year, our family was fortunate enough to have adopted our four beloved dogs, Amira, Hamlet, Cisca, and Ziva from JLR. What drew us to this rescue was the love and the care that is provided to each and every one of their dogs. We absolutely appreciated the time and consideration taken to make sure each dog would be a great fit for our household! This aspect of JLR’s adoption process is so important, especially when adopting internationally. Because of the attention and consistent communication we received, we have gained four beautiful souls in our family. Likewise, we were so impressed and grateful that medical records, vaccinations, etc were organized, up to date, and seamlessly provided in order to continue care for the dogs here at home. Jindo Love Rescue provides support to their adopters like no other rescue we have ever encountered. JLR changed my life. Bailey, formerly 'Cheddar,' I adopted in 2019, and Bear, formerly 'Pudding,' I adopted just this year, both from Jindo Love Rescue. They make sure the dogs are cared for in Korea, and wait for the right adopters for each and every special dog. They also cover all medical medical needs so when the dogs come here they are safe and sound. I continue to talk to the staff at Jindo Love Rescue, and they are caring and helpful, always wanting the best for their adopted dogs. The coolest thing is that THEY recommended Bailey and Bear to me, and those two changed my life for the better. Smart, kind, calm, and soulful dogs. I am so lucky. I adopted my sweet guy, Archie, from Jindo Love. The process was thorough but easy. It’s clear how much they love each and every dog they rescue. I appreciated the time and care they took to speak with me about Archie. Dogs have different personalities and needs just like people. The pairing has to be correct so everyone is happy. Adopting a dog is a huge responsibility and the process cannot be taken lightly. I’m so grateful for this incredible group of people who continue to do amazing work. Without their love, care and careful consideration I would not have my fur baby!

Both of my dogs were rescued from Korea with the help of Patti Kim and Jindo Love. The experience was very easy and they supported me during the process. My dogs are my babies and I’m so grateful to JLR for connecting us. ❣️

Jindo Love Rescue gave me the love of my life, Teddi. Unfortunately, Teddi passed back in February and our lives have not been the same. During the time of his passing, Patti, along with everybody else involved in this organization communicated with me on a daily to make sure that my family and I were OK. It was a devastating loss, but they treated me like family.

JLR has made it possible for my wife and I to have to honor of having 3 absolutely fantastic pups over the past few years. We are just so indebted to JLR for the joy and love they have made possible for our family. Every interaction we have had with the people making all this happen has been extremely friendly and professional. They go above and beyond what most rescue groups do to make sure the pups have a loving, safe, stable and safe home.

Jindo Love Rescue is an amazing organization that does such good work! The team behind the organization take their work seriously - they have tremendous compassion. We were impressed by their adoption/vetting process which was incredibly thorough and lengthy.
