I had them change my clutch and do an oil and filter service. Clutch has been fine so far. However, on having the oil changed this year the sump plug is so tight it wouldnt undo and has rounded off, It took a breaker bar to undo the filter housing. That is very poor indeed, and amateurish.

Hi David, I’m sorry you struggled to undo the sump bung a lot of time things rounding off is down to the tool, more than being too tight as we torque every bolt to manufactures setting, the filter housing are all tight as they get stuck on the rubber seal, we do it everyday so we are use to it, I think using the wording poor and amateur is a little harsh because us professionals don’t complain when we do it, and tighten things to spec, maybe you should of brought it back before you rounded it off so we could of undone it for you.

Can you give 6 stars ? I have never used JB before. But in a pretty dire situation I was made to feel like a long standing customer. Attention to detail and great customer service. Honesty and openness about the issue meant I drove away knowing that I found our new mechanic and car service people. Thanks Justin

So I used this garage after a recommendation. I was going away traveling in my van for 3 months so wanted an oil change and checked over before leaving. Dropping it off first thing expecting it to take just a couple of hours. So I hung around in Beccles for the day, not an easy feat in itself. Rang at 12 to hear they had not started. Then walked in at 3pm to hear the same thing. Eventually Leaving the garage around 6pm. Two days later I drove into France to have the low pads warning light come on. Front pads were worn out. On inspection the driver's side CV boot was split and oil and grease had sprayed everywhere over the disk, caliper and wheel. So from my experience there are better garages in the area you can trust.
