Avoid this Firm Avoid this firm if you are assigned to Dillon Fulcher, Bruce Robinson and Charlene Bargas. I found several negative reviews now they must have scrubbed them previously. They over bill and don't communicate. They failed on a simple assault case in which the defendant pleaded guilty in criminal court but could not handle the civil portion. They billed us over $18k to possibly recover $15k an recovered nothing. They said they would get $73k, total fraudsters. We have had to file malpractice charges with the state board on these attorneys and retain another attorney to help us with our case. Our current attorney says he has never seen such an unprofessional team in his 30+ years of practice. Have everything in writing because they will tell you anything to bill more.

Never trust this law firm I had a deeply disappointing experience with this law firm, specifically with attorney Connor Nybo. I was charged $3,500 for a standard demand letter under 190 words and a brief meeting that lasted no more than 30 minutes. These charges were, in my view, excessive and entirely disproportionate to the scope and complexity of the work performed. When I raised serious concerns in writing and requested an explanation or itemized breakdown, I received no response. I ultimately terminated the representation, yet the firm proceeded to charge me an additional $1,000—despite the attorney-client relationship having ended. This lack of transparency, unresponsiveness, and what I believe to be unjustifiable billing practices raise major concerns about the firm’s professionalism and ethics. I would caution anyone considering legal services from this firm to proceed with great care and to insist on clear, upfront agreements regarding fees and billing practices.

No Questions Allowed To preface, I won't say that I am not partially at fault for what occurred between me and Eric Schobel, I believe he is their firm manager. I will never claim that I do not speak in an aggressive manner, and I type that way as well when I have documentation and evidence to back it up. I had choice words with their billing department because they claimed they had charged me for phone calls that didn't happen, that I had no record of from 30 days ago. They charged me a finder's fee, for "finding" the other party to my litigation case when I openly told them in email and over the phone that I won't utilize their services until I get the other parties address. I provided my phone call logs and screen shots of their invoices to show that they had billed me incorrectly. This was where it went back apparently. When I questioned their billing staff and told them that it looks a little like fraud, you know, being charged for services not rendered. They immediately took to the defensive and told me that I was aggressive and treating their staff with disrespect because I line by line went through their invoice and asked how they charged me for things that didn't happen or things that were provided for them before I even signed their contract. Eric, even had the audacity to say that I was "nit picking" their invoices for issues when I was being billed 60-120 dollars per line for .10 hours worth of work, where a lot of that work was either calling me or sending me an email. Their billing person then forwarded my email to Eric Schobel who then canceled my contract with their firm, even though, in his own words, he knew nothing about my case, as he hadn't worked it and conveniently "couldn't find" the email or documents where I sent him my opposing parties address. He all of a sudden started saying "hello" like he couldn't hear me, gave me a send off, and hung up on me. That last bit of disrespect is the only reason I am spending the additional time to make this review.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Initial person I talked to said my matter would cost$3500 for a simple HOA dispute that just needed to go to mediation. Lawyer that was assigned my case Amanda Bauer needed other lawyers to hold her hand through my case and then charged me for the pleasure. I was also not communicated with for a period of two weeks after she contacted opposing counsel, causing additional fees for overpriced lawyers. 10/10 would not recommend. These people are the reason that many people do not like lawyers. The Colorado Bar Association has already received my complaint. I didn't even get to mediation and the bill was over $4000. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. Just because it is legal, does not make it right or ethical.

I called to address a defamation issue that I believed would end up in litigation and had a consult with Robert. He was very amiable and walked me through the process and I felt very hopeful about working with them. I was assigned to Dillon, who was very direct and to the point, which I appreciated. The reason I give two stars was for the discrepency in what Robert spoke with me about vs. Dillon. Dillon was very honest about the odds of my case being realistic if it went to litigation, including expenses and awards, etc. This was in contract to what Robert had discussed with me, which was very disappointing, and I regret wasting the money I did on this endeavor.

Initial consult with Robert My wife and I had an initial consult with Robert regarding potential issues that could lead to a lawsuit against our HOA board in Colorado. We live in TX and it is in regards to our vacation home there. We interviewed other CO firms and left unsatisfied. Our 1 hour + zoom with Robert was fruitful and provided us much information so that if we proceed the groundwork will have been laid and we feel we understand better the process and options.
