I can’t begin to express the gratitude I have for Dr. Emer, Dr. Rojas and their staff. From beginning to end of my body lift/gladiator, and down under journey, they treated me with ultimate respect and kindness. There are so many individuals involved in making the process smooth, and comforting. If you’re going to do these types of body improvement procedures, go to the very best and experienced team. Without a doubt…this is the right choice. It is a HUGE decision, not to be taken lightly. I was, to be honest, probably a bit pesky, with all my questions….before my decision was made. Dalia Kheir, my Surgical Consultant, answered every one of my concerns with an abundance of knowledge and kindness. She helped me with my final treatment choices (yup I’m happy with them). She’s just wonderful! Michael Moore, my Preoperative Care Coordinator, was patient when I had to get medical tests done beforehand, and had a few issues (on my end)…and we got through it!! He is also involved in EVERY single aspect of aftercare. I can’t imagine someone doing better than he does! Between Dalia and Michael, they ensured that I felt safe and in the BEST hands. Aftercare is a no-brainer. The IV-Treatment, hyperbaric chamber, and daily lymphatic massage are as important as the doctor(s) you choose. Please take my advice and spend the time and added expense. 100 percent worth it. My masseuse was Adam. I looked forward to that daily 90 minutes. It was actually relaxing. I was worried that it might be painful. He’s not only extremely experienced, but makes the time go by so quickly. We had fun talking and joking!There are so many staff members that attended to me. I apologize to all not mentioned (but not forgotten). Everything from changing bandages, removing drain tubes, photos, etc. is done with care…and just as important, expertise. I was naked quite often, for obvious reasons…not something I’m usually comfortable with. To be honest, never once did I feel awkward there. I appreciate all the respect, in that regard. I absolutely love that I chose Dr. Emer and Dr. Rojas. When you’re with them, they have laser focus on only you. I know there’s no better team out there. It’s been about 3 weeks since surgery. I follow every single protocol, to ensure I get the optimum results. So far, I’m ecstatic with my results! Everything was filmed (thanks Jason), so check it out on YouTube. I’m sure there will be updated videos in the future. I want to make the Docs, team and myself proud. Finally, I feel like I made some lifelong friends. I live in PA, but will go visit the California and New York offices, whenever I’m in town. Sorry for the lengthy/wordy review. I could go on, but you get the idea of my wonderful experience. It isn’t inexpensive. You get what you pay for. Don’t go cheap! It’s your body, and you want the cream of the crop. This is it!

Dr. Emer and his dedicated team are truly the best in the business. I get compliments on my skin almost daily and am regularly asked what I do and who I go to! I first met Dr. Emer after spending multiple years having researched anything & everything I could possibly find on acne scars. A number of doctors who treated me did not know what they were doing or didn't feel I could get much more improvement. Dr. Emer was immediately optimistic about a treatment plan and he was the first who actually followed through on the multifaceted approach we discussed in my initial consultation. My skin has never looked better and the deep scarring on my cheeks is almost gone-- something I once thought was not possible! ** Update: After working on my acne scars for a bit with a few larger treatments and then downgrading to more of a maintenance regimen, I sought Dr. Emer's help for an entirely different issue: I had sustained a terrible burn injury, and I was absolutely devastated and panicky. I was treated with nothing but the utmost kindness, patience, and respect from every staff member at the practice and as we discussed my case, I learned Dr. Emer actually started out treating burn patients! I knew I couldn't be in better hands so I trusted in the process: I followed all of his skincare recommendations, was consistent with my treatments, and now - 8 months out from my injury - I am astounded at the outcome achieved! There is simply no one else I will ever trust with my skin. Dr. Emer's results are unparalleled. He IS more aggressive than other doctors, but that is precisely what I wanted: a provider who was a pioneer in his field, who didn't accept mediocrity as the standard, who was innovative, would push the envelope, and be up to the more challenging cases. With that being said, everything Dr. Emer does is with the utmost safety, care, attention to detail, and proper pre- + post- treatment instructions for all of his patients. I would take with a grain of salt some of the negative reviews on here (of which there aren’t many). Dr. Emer holds himself and his team to the highest standards and the staff is actually very transparent about the necessity of the skincare protocols. This review may well end up being almost as long as my journey to find Dr. Emer and team😂, but it has been well worth it to end up here! My skin has been completely transformed, and it has without a doubt given me a new lease on life - a statement I do not say lightly - as my confidence has grown exponentially since becoming a patient. I truly enjoy every time I get to catch up with Dr. Emer & his staff, and get that flawless Emer skin in the process!

I am absolutely thrilled with the outstanding care I receive at Dr. Emer's office. Not only is he an incredible doctor, but his team, including Jose, PJ, and Jordan, is exceptionally skilled and welcoming. Initially, I visited for laser treatments, but I was so impressed with the results that I began exploring other services they offer. The facials and skincare treatments are fantastic, and I now rely on Dr. Emer for all my aesthetic needs. He truly is the best in the area, and I couldn't be happier with the improvements in my skin. Highly recommend!

I found Dr. Emer through instagram and loved his work so I scheduled a consultation and planned to get my buccal fat pad and neck lipo with him. The process went amazing, it was painless and very smooth and his team took amazing care of me and helped guide me through the entire process making it seamless. I love my results and will be back in a few weeks to get filler done with him, I’d highly recommend to everyone to schedule a consultation with Dr. Emer and go to him for all your work, will not regret it !!

This review is overdue. I found Dr. Emer from his Instagram page and saw amazing transformations and was convinced. I saw him at his NYC office in May of 2023 after getting a big list of recommendations. I picked a few combination thinking that I would get great results. I don’t have terrible skin. I opted for the halo laser with micro-needling and prp on the face and neck. Before my scheduled procedure, the office sent me a list of products I had to purchase, it was around ~$1,600 (this was a surprise as this was not communicated at the initial consultation and in reality the products didn’t make a difference) I posted the receipt here. My actual procedure was around $3,500 which I was informed from the beginning and is reasonable. I was told that the downtime was 3-4 days after the procedure that I’d be able to wear makeup and go about my day. To my surprise, my face was not in a place to go anywhere after 4 days of getting the procedure at all (it was dotted red all over and nothing was peeling off), finally after 6 days, I called the office and informed them of my slow healing progress. They asked for photos and I sent them. They prescribed me antibiotics (which is obviously for infections) but was told that everything is fine but just take it out of caution. I took the medications as prescribed hoping that my face would heal soon. It got better, but my face was still very red and I gained a few round needle scars on my forehead that wasn’t there before, not the result I had anticipated. I called the office again letting them know that my recovery is not as they initially described and my face is still very red and un-healed. They asked for photos and then sent me a HUGE list of products that I should buy to make it better, over $2,000 worth (products and a chemical peel photos posted), which included a microneedling roller (it didn’t feel right that I should use microneedle roller on a raw unhealer face at this point). I felt helpless and frantic at this point, because my face looked WORSE than before and their solution to help me was to sell me more products. I was skeptical about their recommendations and didn’t want to drop another $2k+ after spending $5k for my face to look worse. I decided to seek a second opinion and l found an amazing dermatologist in NYC. He said my face was very inflamed and had hyperpigmentation. He was very minimal in his prescription and kept it to a short list and was so cognizant of cost. I worked with him over the course of 5 months or so to resolve the inflammation and improve the hyperpigmentation. Thankful that I found him. The treatment I did at Dr. Emer’s office was the worst experience I’ve had. I’ve gained a few small scars and took a long time to get rid of the redness/yellowish brown tone. He was a nice guy and was professional during the procedure. I felt deceived with their practice to upsell so aggressively and not set realistic healing expectations during the process. Especially when my face was not healing, the post op recommendation made me feel they don’t care about your results, only pushing more products on you. Originally I was going to come here for my annual skin maintenance lasers, but I definitely will not return. Hoping my experience can help someone avoid a similar situation. Response to Dr’s response: I was never informed of my high risk skin type and the PROLONGED AND SCARRING HEALING PROCESS, I would’ve reconsidered the procedure if I’d known. I was told the downtime is 4-5 days. I couldn’t go to work for almost a month b/c my skin so badly damaged. The second derm informed me that my skin was very inflamed. I reached out to your office DESPERATELY seeking guidance. Your office sent me another long list of products to purchase which included a dermal roller and a strong chemical peel. I’m not a professional, but something in my gut just told me that given my skin is still RAW, using a strong chemical peel and a sharp object (dermal roller) is probably not the best idea. Forget about the money, this experience was AWFUL, I do not recommend.

I’m editing my review again to let everyone know don’t go this man, he destroyed my face without a care. I can’t even take pictures anymore because of how bad my face looks. He gave me even more scars, they never did follow ups or anything. I’m reporting him to the board I don’t want more people to go through what I’m going through. He is the worst and some of the 5 stars reviews are made by his employees and they make it look like they are regular clients. Like the Melisa Briseno and Jose bodon both are his employees. I had to delete my preview review because I was so wrong about this place. First of all the treatment coordinators act like they are God. They are imo very mediocre and didn’t even care to review what I have done in the past. Jose acts like he owns the practice and Melissa acts like they are people hard to reach and one should be grateful to go have treatments with them. Both provided medical advice on conditions when none of them are doctors. Regardless of your complaints they will always justify whatever happens to your skin is never their fault. They have gone crazy with the prices. I have done 3 treatments with them and I have more acne scars than before. I asked them for the pictures before each treatment and conveniently they could only find the photo from the first treatment. I mean I can go on about how this people are all about the money and not care for the patients. Very disappointed Dr. Emer really fooled me as someone that cares. In my opinion of worth it.
