The Board of Pardons and Paroles simply disagreed with our well crafted Motion, which was sadly denied. You were told in writing there was no guarantee. You should not "shoot the messenger" - We are the ones trying to help inmates I have been a lawyer many years - I gave up a cushy job to help inmates. That is all I do full-time. Google is indeed the new weapon . A very unfair position. . Don't punish the torchbearer for inmates who are wrongly sentenced and have so many problems that I have given my full time to help them. Ms. Cummings - I do not know anyone by that last name, but I do know the wife of a past client with your first name. We are sorry that your husband is in prison and understand you want him released. When you represent repeat offenders, it can be difficult. I never use "predictors" such as "70/30" discussing the Parole Board - they can essentially disagree with our arguments and apply other standards, denying our relief sought. However, our job is to attempt to persuade them to take the action we urge vigorously. Our parole petition was well drafted, well presented and the Parole Board just disagreed with us. We hope you move on to a positive path and contact us if we can assist. To blame the lawyer and write such things is totally inappropriate. We upheld our end of the agreement, as well as answered each call and email from you. I am sorry you are unhappy, and we worked very hard for your husband. Most of our clients move forward in a more positive manner or work with us to see what other actions can be taken, and we hope you focus on that positive path.
