Do not make an appointment here. Go somewhere else. Have been here 3 times and never waited less than 3 hours. They do not respect patients’ time. Whatsoever. Go see a doctor that and staff that has an ounce of respect for patients. Why do they bother scheduling so many people if they can’t keep up. Read the rest of the reviews. Apparently it’s everyone. Definitely not a one-time thing.
This place is absolutely awful beyond the front desk. The ladies at the front have all been sweet, but everyone working past there is rude. They all look bothered to be here. My daughter had an appointment at 2:45 today. Were still here at 5 o'clock waiting to be seen by the dr. Absolutely no sense of urgency.
Called to try to schedule a medical eye exam today. The lady who answered the phone acted shocked that a patient was trying to call to schedule a medical eye exam. She was rude. And told me that I needed to have a drs referral. My insurance doesn't require a referral and I've never needed one for any opthalmologist I've ever seen. I wouldn't have minded getting a referral if they had been kind about it. First impressions are everything. Called Indiana Eye Surgeons. Told them my medical conditions and they have me seeing a doctor tomorrow! Their receptionist was incredibly kind and competent.
I really love this office, however, they never informed any of their clients that their pediatric office had moved. I went to the wrong location with both of my children in tow to be told it was in a different building. The wait time for the new area is significantly longer. Outside of this mishap, they office is great and the doctor is very patient with my hypersensitive/hyperactive son.
Front desk person on her cell phone. I was picking up glasses ordered for my daughter to try on to ensure they fit. I have never been to the office previously, and didn’t know that their was a person sitting at a desk (not in view) by the wall of glasses in the waiting room to assist for trying on glasses and tightening them as needed. I asked where to pick up glasses and front desk woman looked up from her phone to say, “It’s right there, do you see it?” I have never been to the office prior, and I just see a wall of glasses where she is pointing because you can’t tell there is a desk and a person back there behind a second wall. She acted annoyed and like I should just know where to go. The person who fit my daughter’s glasses was nice. The initial office experience from front desk at Midwest Eye though is enough for me to go somewhere else.
Person at front desk decided I should not accompany my Mother to see the doctor. I have been bringing her here for over two years and never had a problem until today. Now I have no idea what the doctor had to say. NOT GOOD!!! WHAT IS IT ANY.OF HER BUSINESS?? SHE IS MYMOTHER!!! I take care of her.
Guess they didn't like the review now they are refusing to see her. She can go to the Carmel office. Same difference. No thanks.
