I have been a client for many years. I came to Invisions as a former client of Hair Club. I’m still delighted being an Invisions client. The service I get from my stylist Ruth is amazing and the entire staff is friendly and helpful. I can’t imagine going anywhere else for my hair service.
I came in for the initial consultation about 8 months ago and met with Melissa who was able to answer all my questions after searching for why I was losing my hair and what I could do to stop and lucky for me, reverse my hair loss. At the time I started it I was about 21 or 22 so I caught it super early and she explained what male pattern baldness what, and what exactly was happening which was super helpful for me personally. I decided to just go for it, I didn’t want to be bald by the time I was 25 (no one said that, it’s just my estimation) and I’m so glad I started when I did.
Marissa is my therapist here and she does such a great job every time. The results speak for themselves and it feels so good to get my confidence and hair back. I can’t reccomend this place enough. Thank you Hair Club!!
We have clients who have to travel and we recently recommended one of them to Lou and his employees at Invisions of Connecticut. My client from Phoenix was very happy with the way Lou and his crew took care of his hair service needs and will go back for sure the next time he is in Connecticut. Horrible service from the receptionist last time I went there (I think her name was Rae.) I was late to my appointment and she loudly REAMED me out about how “disrespectful” I was within hearing range of other clients. I had never been YELLED AT like that in a customer service setting. I was shocked. Granted, I shouldn’t have been late, but there are professional ways to handle this. Frankly, I was paying them too much money to be talked to like a middle schooler getting a tardy. She made an extra point not to look at me as I said goodbye while leaving at the conclusion of my appointment. Her body was facing me because that’s how the desk was oriented but she turned her neck to look away as I approached, obviously wanting to talk to her. Extremely bad service. It may be worth noting that I was the only visibly non-white client that I ever saw in that salon. Rae was unprofessional, condescending, had an explosive temper, and I never went back.
Hi William. I am sorry that you feel this way. We value each and every client and pride our business on top notch customer service and customer experience. The last time you were in to see us was over three years ago, before you moved away to the midwest. Since then, you have called on several occasions to ask for our recommendations on hair replacement companies in your area. I was more than happy to help you as I am glad to help any client. I do believe that it is worth noting that you have visited Invisions four times from November, 2019 to March, 2020. Three of the appointments you arrived late. According to our computer records, the first time you were 1 hour and 45 minutes late, the second time you were 32 minutes late and the third time you were 25 minutes late. All three times we accomodated your appointment and made sure you received the best possible service. My staff does not yell at clients. You were reminded that we would accomodate you again after being this late, but in the future, if you were this late, we would need to reschedule your appointment because it affects other clients who are on time and waiting for their appointment, many of whom are suffering hair loss as a result of medical treatments and may not be feeling well as a result. You noted that you were the only visibly non-white client that you saw. Unfortunately, your profile picture tells a different story. Invisions clientele is very diverse, with hair loss affecting men and women of all ethnic backgrounds. Lastly, it seems appropriate to remind you that wrongfully accusing someone and guessing their name is bullying and harassment. William, as I mentioned earlier, we haven’t seen you in over three years. I hope you are doing well, and wish you only the best.

During my recent visit to Invisions, I had high hopes as Lew, the person who welcomed me, seemed friendly and assured me they would address my concerns. Unfortunately, my experience took a turn for the worse at the reception area after my first service. The lady (management) there was incredibly rude and loud. She never bothered to talk to her colleagues before reacting. I did mention that I had moved from a different place and needed to transition to their services (on papers). It felt like she was blaming me for something out of my control. I was shocked by her behavior and didn't respond, but such treatment is unacceptable. The overall customer service was very poor. She passionately shouted about a few policies and boasted about how they have been running the business for 30 years, even if it was just a policy. Instead of calmly explaining the situation, she started yelling in front of other people. Unless you have no other choice and don't mind being yelled at, I recommend avoiding this place. The experience was disappointing and not worth enduring.
The staff at Invisions is wonderful! They make me feel comfortable through every part of this process, and their products are top notch. I have gained so much confidence ever since coming to Invisions over 10 years ago, and I would recommend to any one who is feeling self conscious about their hair loss.
Very satisfied with the hair system, I was super excited about these hairs. For 20yr no hairs on my head and then all this hair, it is an amazing feeling. Wife and kids love it. (My friends don't need to know lol it is super realistic, nobody can say you have this on your head no way, the front line is undeletable for an eye) The owner was very pleasant to work with, after cutting he came and check if everything looks good. Kelly the Hair stylist she was just amazing she took the time when she was styling the hairs and answer all the questions, she is very professional and talented hair stylist, she blends my bio hair with the system just perfectly.
If you are struggling with boldness and want to burn all your hats and bandanas, you know where to go.

I would like to share my NEW experience with Invisions of Ct.
Before I do I want to share that I have been a client for 34 years, thus I have experienced the many improvements and new technologies in hair replacement from EARLY hair transplants to the "braid system" of hair replcement and every thing in between . Moveover I've been a long time client of another Hair Replacement system. So. --been there -done that.
With that short bio the following is my truth of my experience with Invisions.
Everything from the web site showing in detail the process, and then the intake with Lou was fantastic. Lou is the "real deal" Although not a client himself his energy and the passion to help me was fantastic. We discussed at length my desires, he respected my past experience and treated me as a person .. No bologna. He told me when I could have my new unit, and explained it wasn't as precise fitting as the unit after that because they needed to make EXACT measurements for my next unit as to meet my exact expectations. Received the new unit on time and was given to a wonderful person and highly skilled hair Styler and then had the unit installed. Invisions uses many types of protocols for the placement of the unit and ALL WERE NEW TO ME. All were explained and was told if this particular attach process wasn't to my satisfaction there were many other options.
Bottom line, it was , and the hair quality exceeds my expectations.
THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE AT INVISIONS IS FANTASTIC in fact I joke with Lou and Petie that I get there an hour early just to enjoy the the nice energy, class of all the staff and simply the relaxed feeling of being there.

Kicked me out after an hour because they had another customer and my hair system attachment looked so bad. They always take so long soaking the system in a cleaning agent so it is actually around 30 minutes of interaction/ cutting once every 4 weeks. I'm a nice guy so I didn't say anything and accepted it saying to myself It'll be better next time. I never felt more vulnerable and thrown out in my life. Don't pay a monthly subscription for this place, you can order a hair system online thats better than theirs and pay a barber $20 to get it cut in for you and abit more to get it taken care of. I question who's their hair system partner because their product is trash. No need for hundreds of dollars a month unless you don't care.
I would disregard any bad reviews from this place.
I went there for a free consultation and was blown away by how professional , honest and caring they are , if you're looking for honest advice and a professional opinion this is the place to go.
Highly recommended !
The worst place ever!!! Please do not go here they are so unprofessional. The owner, his wife , niece, and daughter are the most difficult people to work with and are just flat out rude. Please stay away!! You can go to hair club and get the real deal.
