The goal of this is build with the kids and learn off screen. This is all hunting for the instructions and digging through random links that make no sense. Sad but all this stuff is useless for kids without any real instructions. If it takes me an hour looking on my phone - the thing we are trying to get the kids off of? What is the point? To ignore them to now mess around with it?

Missing Bonuses The kit is nice (worth 5 stars), I am enjoying it. However, the website I ordered from "https://www.makershed.com/products/30-days-lost-in-space-adventure-kit" indicated three e-book bonuses which were not delivered (neither links nor directions for access). This was disappointing and only got automated 'I got your email' responses from the makershed help email address.

I have purchased numerous kits and products from Inventr.io over the years. The kits are fantastically designed and put together. More importantly, however, is the customer service from the crew. I have the Sunfounder Rover and it is missing the acrylic washers. I have been back and forth with Sunfounder for 3+ weeks now and still haven't gotten the replacements. Lost in shipping somewhere. Chas at inventr.io was kind enough to help me get the washers through them and won't let me pay for them! If you are an Arduino/robotics hobbyist, then you need to be shopping at inventr.io and using their story driven kits!

I'm a long-time programmer, engineer, and robot builder. I got this kit because I think Austin has a shared vision. My motto in my sci-fi novels is 'Story with purpose: Think, Grow, Enjoy!' I have no doubt a similar motto drives Austin and the InvetrKits LLC forward. It's an incredibly well done program that I wish I could give ten stars. Do yourself a favor - get one of their kits, learn, grow, and enjoy!

This team has a real flair for empowering students of any age to learn how to connect the technologies of electronics and computer science with stimulating adventures that let you learn at your own pace. There are support groups on Facebook Messenger where you can get help with your projects, or show them off! If you’ve ever had the desire to bootstrap yourself into these fields then this is a great way to start. If you know someone else who’s interested these packages (like 30 days in space) they make wonderful gifts. I got the farm for my 8 year old granddaughter!

Super cool way to learn basic code, electrical engineering, the interaction between the two, and although it’s easy enough to make basic tools and experiments, it’s also robust and complex enough that you are only limited by your imagination and your electrical components. I immediately wired up a light-up tester for my Atari and genesis controllers that works like a charm, and with some additional sensors and diodes and things, you could do just about anything!!

I love the kits. The only thing that I noticed is the lack of paper instructions. The video tutor on the sight is very small on a phone and can't be enlarged. It's even small on a tablet. Paper instructions would help us old timers that need something that helps us when the builders hands are partly blocking important visual information. Please advise me if there is access to written instructions.

Although I have started the 30 day program to save myself from dying under water on an alien world, I have not followed the 30 day program. I am scheduled for surgery. The recovery will last about a month. Rather than watch "I Love Lucy" reruns, I hope to learn coding.

I’ve wanted to learn Arduino, breadboards, and some C coding for years. I never knew how to get started. Inventr has made learning easy and accessible. I really enjoy the simple courses, tons of additional content constantly being updated and provided, and the amazing community of makers and creators helping me along my journey. The kits, with boards, wires, sensors, shields, and more are all very reliable and of good quality, no issues there. I’m actively looking forward to my next lesson with them!

This has been such a blast! I’m an older user who decided to try something new and different and this did not disappoint! Had some small use of some other arduino type products, this was far better and I feel that I’ve really picked up a lot of new skills along the way. Marvellous time now can’t wait for the next adventure.
