Great idea, but not the best execution. They really should have developed a script and hired a voice actor for the videos, and while the IC boards are well protected, the parts are not in the add on kits. Most of the parts arrived badly bent, and parts are clearly not soldered to US mil standards. The programming is also not using/teaching best practices. That said, it’s fun and educational and an easy introduction to a child to encourage STEM.
I have been going through "Thirty Days In Space" for 3 weeks now. I am not even halfway done; but that is fine because I have no time limit. Thanks to the compelling online lessons for this extra space in my online learning.
Wonderful experience. Everything you need is included. Only sad thing is we wish we could do it all over again. Support is really top notch. Will support this project by giving gift kits to family and friends. Really can't say enough of how great an experience this was. Thank you.
Awesome kits and community for learning to create electronics gadgets!
This kit is incredibly well thought out. Its easy to assemble, instructions are clear, and I found the video tutorials really useful. I'm a teacher and one of my students also purchased a kit and gained a great deal from the build process as well as feeling like he had achieved a great deal in the process. Looking forward to any newly themed consoles being released!
I never wrote code professionally - even tho I have a Masters in CompSci from Johns Hopkins (AI and robotics). The Adventure Kit was a ton of fun. This gets you into the code AND the hardware. Try it. Don't be scared. No matter what you do, you won't shut down the power grid nor will a zombie apocalypse happen.
Can't access the 30 days lost in space kit. Have to set up an account that is pretty much just blank pages. Help info page is a blank page. I received the hardware though so that's a plus.
The lost kit is one of the best out there!
Overwhelmingly Positive Experience I bought the Lost in Space adventure kit, and I have to say it has been an overwhelmingly positive experience. I always thought microcontrollers and electronics would be so far out of my league as they are way too complicated, yet this kit has shown me how I can manipulate complex systems in such an easy and fun way. I can't express enough how nice the course has been, the instructions were so incredibly clear, concise, and informative while explaining things in such a gentle and easy to understand kind of way. These people have helped me discover the hobby of electronics and microcontrollers, I can't say enough what a good purchase this kit was, and if you are on the fence about buying this product, you should go for it, it has been a ton of fun to play with.
Really cool projects, quality parts, and follow up emails with ideas for other projects and encouragement to follow up if I'm hung up on something. Great investment into learning small robotics.
Bad no in struckshins, but still love it
Absolutely great. Prompt response to questions, the kit itself is perfect for me.

I have been having a great time with this, but on Day 15, my history is gone. The only way I can see to get it back is retake courses 1-14. What is up with that? I still have an account, but none of my previous days show up as completed. I watch the end of Day 14 again and was able to mark it complete, but I should not have to. Please help. I am starting to blow bubbles.
Loving the classes and I’ve already recommended this site to friends. Love the approach!
I got the 30 Days Lost In Space kit and am really enjoying my first introduction to coding ready for more.
Possibly one of the most fun kits I have laying around in my house. The online part of the kit could be a bit more immersive but other than that, I’m having a blast working on the projects!
