BEWARE. I used PSS Removals to send several boxes of very personal belongings to Dubai. ALL of the boxes arrived totally destroyed despite being covered from top to bottom in ‘FRAGILE’ tape. Every single item of glassware, crockery, picture frames, electrical, you name it - smashed to pieces and some stuff missing too. Like they had thrown my boxes from the top of a building (I have attached just a few of many images). This ‘family run’ company then dodged all of my emails looking for some for of compensation. All they do is pass the buck. Terrible, shady firm. Go elsewhere!

I've previously reviewed PSS International Removals in respect of a move overseas, where: a/ incorrect deadlines were provided, b/ three items were smashed, c/ three valuable items were missing/rendered obsolete, for which the company has a legal responsibility. The company has posted false remarks, that it was not given the opportunity to respond - it was. The company's operations director was then contacted. Here's a copy of the letter sent to her. You may wish to draw your own conclusions, that the company has had adequate time to remediate but has elected not to do so.
They don’t tell the truth
Disgusting service, from start to finish just constant lies.
Told they could come to house with container, then day before they was due thet called saying the container was unavailable, and we would have to wait extra time or put the stuff on van and into storage, obviously at our cost not there’s. So racked up another £500 on top of the £5500 payment already made.
Then they don’t tell u about all the extra charged on the other side, another £2000 plus costs and invoices sent after receiving goods, they charge for literally everything.
So if u got quoted £5000 then your best doubling it Because that’s the actual amount you will pay by time you get your stuff.
Honestly after the stress and everything, it’s just not worth shipping stuff over seas, your best just selling and buying again once you get there, save yourself the hassle and don’t deal with this company
DISAPPOINTING
We used PSS Removals for an international move, and while they handled the packing and delivery, the service ended on a very sour note. Upon delivery, they did not unpack our items (contrary to expectations) and instead rushed through, only slicing open the plastic wrapping on larger furniture items like our couches.
Unfortunately, in doing so, they left a large cut on one of the couches with a craft knife. The team said nothing about it, made me sign the delivery form, and only once they had left did I notice the damage. There was no apology, no accountability, and certainly no offer to contribute—even a small amount—towards fixing the damage. It felt completely unethical.
We did have insurance, but like many, it never covers the full cost—especially for negligence like this. To make matters worse, they couldn’t tell me where key parts like bed screws or hardware were packed, so I had to go through multiple boxes myself just to assemble basics. It was a frustrating, exhausting experience.
PSS may seem professional on the surface, but the lack of care, responsibility, and basic integrity in how they handled our belongings and responded to the damage speaks volumes. I wouldn’t recommend them.
Alot of back and forths to areange delivery of goods. A lot of extra charges.

Excellent removals company. Staff are very helpful, friendly and professional. The office staff were patient to answer our many questions and help with customs forms. The packers worked tirelessly and made a difficult time stress free and even fun. PSS are the best international removals company we have used. Highly recommend!
Lost entire delivery and poor insurance service.
PSS removals lost my entire delivery, claimed they could not find it in their warehouse and have no idea where it went missing. Informed via email and passed on to a insurance claim department. Once the insurance dept. had 'assessed' my claim they did not the include the fees paid to PSS (a refund was not offered by PSS) and valued items at the minimum amount possible. This also meant after paying for PSS services I was to receive 20 pounds for the lose of over 300 books amassed over decades. Some items were expensive and some sentimental.
Have spent months debating this value with the insurance company who are only wiling to refund half the service charge and have increased my claim for the lost items by 15 pounds..
Adding insult to injury I get to pay a service fee to do this, reducing my claim further.
Do not use their services if you value our goods.

Avoid the stress and heartache and go with another moving company
I wish I had seen more honest reviews before trusting PSS International Removals with our family's move from London to Brisbane in January 2024. What followed was nothing short of heartbreaking - we lost nearly everything we owned due to water damage and black mould.
When the container arrived in March 2024, we were absolutely devastated. Cherished belongings, furniture, and personal items that we had carefully packed up in London were now covered in black mould. The worst part? PSS knew about this damage weeks before delivery but never bothered to tell us. Instead, we were blindsided when the movers showed up at our door in Brisbane and basically forced us to accept the damaged items or pay daily storage fees.
Trying to get help from PSS was like talking to a brick wall. Countless emails and phone calls went nowhere. They just passed us off to their insurance people, who offered us such a low amount compared to what we lost. We even had professional cleaners come to assess the mould damage, but PSS and their insurers wouldn't cover the cleaning costs. Being in Australia, with the time difference to the UK, made everything ten times harder - we'd wait all day for responses that never came.
Eventually, we were so emotionally drained from fighting that we accepted their low offer just to try and move on with our lives. The whole experience was incredibly stressful and upsetting - these weren't just "items" to us, they were our family's belongings, memories, and comforts from home that we'd brought to start our new life in Australia.
Now in 2025, we're heading back to the UK and I felt compelled to share our story. If you're planning an international move, please look elsewhere. PSS might pack your stuff nicely in the beginning, but when things go wrong (and they did, terribly), you're on your own. The lack of care, communication, or basic decency when dealing with our situation was shocking. Save yourself the heartache we went through.

An absolute joke. Hold you to ransom once you’ve left the UK

Absolutely disgusting customer service.
My family and I relocated to Australia.
Firstly, our boxes were sent to the wrong warehouse in the UK. It took them 2 weeks to contact me (timeframe from UK to WA wa 7-10 days) after the 2 weeks when they finally found our boxes, they sent me an invoice with an increase of 10% for shipping!!!
PSS held us to ransom knowing we were already in Australia. Having no option, we had to pay their ransom to release our items.
Today, some of our boxes arrive and 60% of them look as though they had been driven over!!
DO NOT USE PSS TO SEBD YOUR ITEMS!!
Started well, however transit time DOUBLED with zero communication
**Be warned** PSS were extremely helpful at the start with great communication, prompt estimate and delivery and collection of boxes/belongings. However, after collection communication became scare, estimated delivery time went from 8-12 weeks to 20 weeks from London to New Zealand. On contacting PSS, they took no accountability and kept referring to their T&C's. My issue is the lack of communication to alert us of the significant increase in transit time. They informed us once the ship left the port. Too late to find an alternative solution. My daughter has to now live out of suitcase for 5 months. Don't be fooled by the helpful staff at the outset, as once you no longer have your belongings you have zero control and they claim they don't either.....its all up to the shipping companies.
Horrible experience
I paid for air delivery, which was supposed to arrive within 2 weeks, but I did not receive my belongings until 4 weeks later. During this period, the staff ignored my daily inquiries about the status of my boxes.
When my belongings finally arrived, they were broken, including a smashed Smeg microwave. Despite paying for insurance and claiming £400, which reflects the market price of the item, PSS Removals only offered me £30 in compensation. This is utterly unacceptable.
I have sent several emails to Jess Bullard, the Claims Adjuster, requesting a reconsideration of the amount or, at the very least, the terms and conditions of the insurance, which I was not provided with at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, my emails have been ignored.
I do not recommend PSS Removals due to their poor service and lack of accountability. I will be leaving multiple reviews to warn others about this experience.
