Update. The below problems have been swiftly resolved by Habib Hassan and his team. It took a while to get this corrected, but a new unit was offered at a fair price. I recommend Ultra Tec’s products and services.
If you are looking for a residential countertop water unit with cold/hot water, do not purchase from Ultra Tec. I purchased a countertop unit in August 2022 and it worked fine at first. About a year ago, the cold water shutoff valve started clicking non-stop. They tried to "service" it over 8 times and it still does not function properly. After talking with them numerous times, it seems there is no solution to the problem (other than buying another new unit at over 3,200 AED).
Ultra Tec can sell you a product and complete yearly filter replacement, but they cannot be trusted with any sort of maintenance. After the 1-year warranty, you're on your own...

Just installed my new shower filter from Ultra Tec Treatment LLC, and I'm thrilled with the results! It's been a game changer in protecting my hair and skin from chemically treated water.
