Room was nicer than expected. There was an odd odor, but that did subside after a few hours. The bathroom could use an update - all the fixtures were very low. Location to lock 7 is great. We had the opportunity to watch several ships pass through. There’s not much within a walkable distance from the hotel, but it is pretty close to the Niagara Falls area and many of the wineries are within a 15 minute drive. ☺Cleanliness

Likedbthe property and being able to see the ships going through the locks. But, that is all the good stuff i have to say. The beds were so hard we both hand sore backs after the first night. I personally had a very hard time sleeping on the bed. As far as other stuff. The room was cold. and the baseboard heaters were having a hard time keeping up. ☺ cleanliness, staff & service ☹ amenities

Nice place. Great viewing of the ships in lock 7. Amenities are not good. Very hard mattresses on beds. No phone in room. Baseboard heaters couldn't seem to keep up in cold temperatures. No extra blankets for on beds.

It was very restful ☺ Location was awesome...right on the welland canal..updates have been added since we were there the last time..the only thing that would be nice to have is a microwave in the room... Beds were comfortable, clean and it was quiet..very restful weekend... ☹ Not having a microwave

Staff was very helpful and friendly. They are doing an excellent job managing this property. ☺ Location is central in the Niagara area. It is right on the Welland Canal. Tho only way you could be closer to the boats is to be right on them. ☹ There was nothing we did not like.

Exceptional ☹ The ONLY thing I would have liked to change is if there were allowance to smoke on the back patio overlooking the Lock. It is a part of my morning routine to have a cigarette in the morning when I wake up as I get ready for the day. I also battle with insomnia and often having a cigarette calms me to sleep. I do not like that I had to step out over to the street-side to smoke. I understand the rule of not smoking within the unit, but do not understand why it is prohibited to do outside on the back patio. But aside from that nitpick, this was a pleasant experience and I look forward to returning in the future. I have already begun recommending the Inn At Lock Seven to my friends.
