Have rented with them for years. Minor issues. Our washer suddenly wasn’t draining this morning. Called for service and they said we had to wait a week with no washer and now a flooded house. Thanks! They have no emergency hotline for their own supplies and make you wait 5+ days for anything.

I would strongly advise against renting from this company. My friend and I rented a washing machine and dryer, and the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. The machine they provided us with broke down on the very first wash. Not only did it stop working, but my clothes got stuck inside, and the washing machine is now locked. When we contacted customer service, they were completely unhelpful, only offering to send someone to fix it four days later. This is completely unacceptable — by that time, our clothes will be ruined, and the situation is now an emergency. It’s clear they don’t care about resolving issues promptly or understanding the urgency of the situation. Clothes are expensive, and we entrusted this company to provide a functioning machine. Instead, they’ve left us stranded without any concern for the inconvenience or damage they’ve caused. I would not recommend renting from this company to anyone.

It is going on 2 weeks now and I am still waiting on a refund from Appliance Warehouse. I have called twice about my refund and all I am told by the CSR is that they are sending an email to there account team and someone will reach out. I do not want to take this any further but I will go for a lawsuit if I am not refunded for a service I didn't receive. This company should not be able to rob consumers and get away with it. Anytime I ask to speak with a manager, no one is available. This is unacceptable!!

We rented a washer and dryer for 2 months while we were in the process of a military move. The drop off and installation both went fine. The problems started once I scheduled the pick-up. I was told that we would only be responsible for paying the two months, but then I was charged for a third month even though the pickup was pending. I am still working on getting this resolved before I have to do a chargeback with my bank. Then came the day of scheduled pickup. I logged in to my account the morning of, and saw an ETA of 12:30pm. Then it updated to 3:20pm. That time came and went. I called customer service. During a 2 minute conversation, she said they would show up “any minute” then “within 45 minutes”, then claimed they would be there by 9pm. Nobody ever showed up or even bothered calling. I am currently waiting for their customer service to open. We will have to scramble to take yet another day off work and hope that we are able to clear our military housing in time. This might end up being the most expensive short term washer/dryer rental in history. not too. Update: when all was said and done, it took about 6 weeks and several phone calls after pickup to get refunded for the extra month we were charged. I would recommend steering clear of Appliance Warehouse. If we had known what their business practices are like, we would have just gone to a laundromat for those two months.

I recently received a used washer and dryer from your company, which I initially had no issue with. However, upon delivery, it was evident that the appliances had not been properly inspected. They appeared to have been removed directly from someone’s home and delivered to me in that same condition. When I ran a wash cycle, I was shocked to find leaves, dead cockroaches, and other insects floating inside the washing machine. Thankfully, I had not placed my clothes inside. This level of negligence is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, when I contacted customer service, I encountered one of the rudest and most unprofessional representatives I have ever spoken to. Instead of addressing my concerns appropriately, I was simply told that someone could pick up the appliances on Tuesday, February 18, 2025—forcing me to wait an entire week for a replacement. It is highly concerning that your company is providing used appliances without proper inspection, ensuring they meet basic hygiene and functionality standards before placing them in customers' homes. I chose to rent a washer and dryer from your company because I am moving in a few months and wanted a temporary solution, but this experience has been extremely disappointing. I expect immediate action to rectify this situation. Please confirm how you plan to resolve this matter as soon as possible. -Kierra Sampson **Update: 2/18/2025, The same delivery driver who previously delivered my washer and dryer returned, informing me that he had another set of the same models on the truck. However, he admitted that they would have the same issues as my current units. Upon hearing this, I requested that he remove both the washer and dryer from my home. His acknowledgment of the poor quality of their equipment was enough for me to take my business elsewhere. I am currently on the phone with customer service, seeking a refund for the time and inconvenience I have experienced. Based on this experience, I would not recommend purchasing or leasing a washer and dryer from this company. While I understand that people don't have an option, I strongly encourage others to explore alternative companies for leasing household appliances.

I initially requested delivery 1/26 and delivery was scheduled for the following week on 2/7. I took off work to accommodate whatever time they might need to deliver. After multiple conversations with the customer service reps... who informed me that they could not possibly schedule a time for delivery until the day of, assured me delivery was still happening. Immediately after getting off that phone call with the CS agent I received an email rescheduling my delivery for 2/18. I called back immediately and was informed they were short delivery drivers. While inconvenient, that is understandable. Lo and behold it is the day before my delivery is due and I just received a call informing me that not only have they had to reschedule my delivery again... to 2/27, they don't even have the laundry unit I initially ordered. I have requested a refund as I have zero faith at this point that they will be able to fulfil their promises.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO LEASE FROM THIS COMPANY. I filled out the application and am scheduled my delivery date. I was cancelled on the night before and when I called they told me that they were missing a copy of my lease and drivers license. I sent both in and was told they need a scanned copy of my physical social security card when I already provided my social security number. Of all the apartments i've leased, furniture I've leased, bank accounts and credit cards I've opened NONE have every requested my PHYSICAL SOCIAL SECURTY CARD. When I questioned this they accused me of fraud.

Absolutely horrible experience. The website is not advanced and you really can’t do much on it. The guy who delivered the washer and dryer was inappropriate to me once he realized I was home alone. The way this company has handled it , they should be canceled. The pictures I see in the reviews are way nicer than what I got.

The worst customer service ever. They set your appointment a over a week from when you order only to cancel the order and reschedule for another week away. Customer service bs all day saying that someone from dispatch was calling which i never received then to be told that it would take 10 days to get my money back is crazy. I wouldn't advise leasing from them.

The use of the washer and dryer are great, but the company constantly reschedules when needing a fix or ending of the lease resulting in extra charges and/or broken equipment without being willing to credit/refund you.
