I am with my kids, this is our first time here. This place was recommended by a neighbor. Do far the burner receptionist is being very unwelcoming, I am feeling quite uncomfortable. I hope the experience turns the corner.

Gina did a phenomenal job on my wash, cut, and style, but I’m leaving a five star review for her being an even better wing woman. There was a VERY cute guy getting his hair cut too, and I overheard him telling his stylist that he had just moved to the area. I asked Gina for paper and a pen, wrote my name and number, and gave it to her to give to him on his way out. She came back and said he took it smiling and in good humor, so I was thinking this uncharacteristically bold move would pay off. I’m checking out with my friend, and Gina wishes me good luck. My friend looks at me quizzically so as we are walking out, I start to gush about my hair, this handsome guy, feeling good about taking initiative, women supporting women, etc when she bursts out laughing - turns out he’s engaged. He sat close to her while she was getting her haircut (which also looks amazing) and heard all about his fiancé and upcoming wedding. It’s a bummer but the hair is still 10/10. Gina - thanks for scheming with me even though this isn’t a happily ever after story, you’re a G!

100% recommend! I have not had my hair cut in around 3ish years because I do not trust stylist after some horrible experiences. Finally decided it was time to try again to find a hair lady - scheduled with Kavita and HOLY SMOKES! She left me feeling so confident, beautiful, and in LOVE with my hair! She listened to everything I said I wanted and kept making sure I was comfortable through the whole cut! ALSO- it’s worth noting that everyone here is so amazing. I had to bring my 4mo with and they held her and walked her around during my appt. I will be back for sure! 🥰🖤

Varuna Aveda Salon is a top-level spa experience in Annapolis. I have been seeing stylists here for over 5 years and could not be happier with the treatments and style recommendations. The Elemental Massages are top notch - relaxing and therapeutic. The entire staff is professional, courteous and helpful. Highly recommend!!
