Thirteen years ago, Denis and his crew replaced our old flat roof and a portion of a sloped roof with a white PVC roof. The work was very difficult. They had to lift a heavy machine up on the roof to cut through 4 or 5 layers of roofing—EPDM membrane, copper, tar, gravel, etc. I remember a one-foot square of the old roof in the dumpster weighing about 20 pounds. They also stripped old slate roofing from a portion of the adjacent sloped roof.  Denis was very good at getting copper drip edge to match the existing on our historic home. The PVC roofing was put down with welded seams and vent pipes were all capped and caulked.  The work was difficult, but the result was flawless.  Fast forward to today, my wife noticed a small leak in our bedroom below the area with the flat roof.  I called Denis, and he assured me that the roof has a lifetime warranty, and he immediately came out to my house to inspect the roof.  I went up with Denis on to the roof and he checked all the seams which showed no delamination.  The caulking on the vent caps was still in perfect shape.  He had a rag and wiped down portions of the PVC trying to find a hole.  The roof looked like it was in perfect shape after 13 years, and I was worried that this was going to be one of those issues that was going to be hard to diagnose. We spent a few minutes more chatting up on the roof and right when we were about to give up, he wipes down a small section and finds a hole which was smaller than a pencil eraser. I was never so happy to find a hole in my roof. Recently, we had a tree removed next to our house, and we both thought they may have dropped a branch that punctured the roof. He immediately patched the roof, and now we can embark on another 13 years with a worry-free roof over our heads. Thanks Denis! Mark Brookline, MA

Like many older buildings in Brookline, ours had a heat-absorbent black EPDM rubber roof that was prone to issues. Denis and his team removed the rubber roof and an old wooden floating deck that was decaying on top. After replacing the insulation underneath the roof, they redid the entire surface with a white reflective IB PVC membrane — and then created a new non-floating deck comprised of walkable IB DeckShield plus composite railings. The resulting roof deck is an amazing outdoor space! Three years later and no need to worry about leaks, summer heat absorption, or high-maintenance wooden decking. Highly recommend Denis if you are looking to upgrade your flat roof or update your roof deck!

We had Denis and his team replace our Charlestown flat roof and roof deck, and they did a fantastic job. Our building was built in the 1800’s and we had been having a number of issues with leaks that whose sources were nearly impossible to find… Denis and his team worked tirelessly to ensure the roof and roof deck were properly replaced and no leaks remained. Would absolutely recommend!

I found this business thinking it was local to the Southend Boston. It is not...just the telephone number is. Dennis Tchernov came to look at my problem (he certainly didn't come prepared to fix it on the spot). He looked at it for a while, then said he would send me Quotes for some Options. That was three weeks ago. I have yet to hear from him. I ended up getting another Roofer to come and he returned to fix the problems. Dennis was useless and had he given me some Quotes, I am sure they would have been high. The Repair cost $250.00. Please, do not consider this company as a legitimate Southend Company or one that will fix the problem on the spot as it claims. Dennis is not to be trusted.

I got an immediate response to my request for an inspection, and Dennis arrived when he said he would. His advice was professional and knowledgeable. If we need work on our roof we will call ID.

Great outfit! Flat roofs in New England require special consideration, something the former owners of our house missed. Denis and his company were the most informed and up-to-date on the current technology that matched my own research. Very thorough planning, first class and trouble-free installation, and did such a good job I had them completely re-do the non-flat roofs on our main house and carriage house. This outfit knows what they're doing, is super responsive, and first-rate in execution. I liked them so much I recommended to other friends who think just as highly of the finished product. We hired ID Construction to replace our condo association’s roof. They were fantastic to work with from the very beginning. They kept us informed on the schedule, were always on time and the workers were kind and respectful. They cleaned up everything and finished ahead of schedule. It was a perfect job!
