Ideal Siding Nanaimio Reviews

My review applies to the Toronto location of Ideal Siding. I chose this company because of its excellent reviews. The work involves installing tyvek wrapping and replacing the top half of the siding above the frieze board, including the frieze board. However, my dissatisfaction arose when the frieze board of a non matching colour was provided and the contractor was not able to provide me with photos of tyvek installation. Instead, I was provided with just photos of the bare wall and the completed wall. When questioned about the tyvek installation, I was sent photos of work done on their other projects which was irrelevant to me. The first frieze board (see pic) curled up in the heat and was subsequently replaced after countless follow-ups. The 2nd frieze board (see pic) was screwed into the siding instead of installing it the proper way. I've contacted the contractor numerous times but have not received a response. I'm very disappointed that the process has dragged on for such a long time without resolution. Obviously, the company's claim of 100% customer satisfaction does NOT hold true.

My wife and I are thrilled with Ideal Siding's replacement of our old vinyl with James Hardie plank siding. From first contact with their representative who explained our options, aided our selection of the new colour and drew up the easy-to-understand proposal, to the installation supervisor, who worked closely with the three person crew, everybody was dedicated to giving us excellent service and outstanding craftsmanship.

These guys are super nice. They paid attention to details. Very knowledgeable about the siding installation work. They would come back if I needed them - we checked.

Every little detail was taken care of and if there were questions or concerns Justin would ask me and then proceed. He went above band beyond at times and his level of craftsmanship and attention to detail was excellent. A lot of love and respect for IDEAL SIDING!

Ideal Siding provided excellent service from beginning to end. Our freshly installed James Hardie Siding is beautiful and the process of planning and installation was so easy. The installation team was extremely professional and considerate, we could not be happier with Ideal Siding!

We replaced siding on entire side of my company building! Excellent work done by Ideal Siding team. The project took 4 days and it was painted and all. The workmanship was outstanding and they were so meticulous about every stage of the project. The product they used to replace the old cedar siding that we had will last so long and is amazing! We highly recommend using this company & will use them again when we replace more siding on other properties.

The end result is 100 times better than what they took off. We've gotten a lot of compliments from our neighbours, relatives & friends that our house looks so much better. The quality and workmanship put into the house is great.

Thanks to Joe and his team! We replaced full house siding. Most impressive was their crew's working timeline and respect of my property during construction. I highly recommend them for any kind of home siding needs.
