My review applies to the Toronto location of Ideal Siding. I chose this company because of its excellent reviews. The work involves installing tyvek wrapping and replacing the top half of the siding above the frieze board, including the frieze board. However, my dissatisfaction arose when the frieze board of a non matching colour was provided and the contractor was not able to provide me with photos of tyvek installation. Instead, I was provided with just photos of the bare wall and the completed wall. When questioned about the tyvek installation, I was sent photos of work done on their other projects which was irrelevant to me. The first frieze board (see pic) curled up in the heat and was subsequently replaced after countless follow-ups. The 2nd frieze board (see pic) was screwed into the siding instead of installing it the proper way. I've contacted the contractor numerous times but have not received a response. I'm very disappointed that the process has dragged on for such a long time without resolution. Obviously, the company's claim of 100% customer satisfaction does NOT hold true.

My wife and I are thrilled with Ideal Siding's replacement of our old vinyl with James Hardie plank siding. From first contact with their representative who explained our options, aided our selection of the new colour and drew up the easy-to-understand proposal, to the installation supervisor, who worked closely with the three person crew, everybody was dedicated to giving us excellent service and outstanding craftsmanship.

I researched many companies to redo my the siding of my house, I got down to 4 , then decided to go with Ideal Siding for several reasons. First , I saw some other homes they completed in my area that looked great and professionally finished. Second, I researched and found they had amazing reviews on several of their websites. Third , the person I worked with (Justin) was sincere and genuine and not "salesy" at all and made sure I understood all work to be done thoroughly. He made on-point recommendations and wasn't pushing at all. The project was completed on time and within the agreed budget. I definitely recommend this company. Thank you Ideal Siding!!!

Installation was great and timely, the crew was excellent. This is a project that you hope to do once in a lifetime. From the very start of the process, the team was extremely helpful. Update: the Project Manager contacted me to apologize and acknowledge that they could have handled the previous interaction better and offering to take care of our project for us. Their crew showed up the same day and completed the job quickly and to our satisfaction. Would have been a 5 star experience if not for the previous interaction!
Called on a Friday afternoon of the long weekend, glad that they could fit us in for a quote on the Monday as we had birds causing damage in an opening in our soffit only for the Project Manager to contact us a few hours before our appointment to say that our job was “too small” for their company. Would’ve been nice to know that when I described the job to the person who booked the appointment! We wasted 3 days waiting for this appointment when we could have been searching for someone else to come help us resolve the issue. Their only suggestion… “find a handyman”.

Justin completed a small siding repair project on my house. A piece of siding up near the top of my house, which I couldn't really access, had been ripped off and damaged in a windstorm. Justin replaced the piece and the work looks good. I received excellent customer service. Thank you Ideal Siding! I would definitely recommend them.
