Had a great day with Matt - my first tattoo. Incredible artist, you have total attention all day/appointment and are made as comfortable as poss. Completely trusted him and his judgement, and I love the results (he seemed to know what I was after before I did). For any other newbies, the first couple of hrs was totally pain free on inner upper arm, just like when my watch buzzes!

Matt is a legend, and this is reflected in his work.
As a first timer, he put my mind at ease with his speedy responses, demonstratable expertise, and chill demeanour. The studio is also a very clean and zen place.
He's a brilliant artist, and his "stylised realism" is exactly what I was looking for. He's very open and engaging on ideas and working collaboratively towards getting you that perfect tattoo.
I'm 2 tattoos into a full sleeve and will definitely be coming back to Matt to get the remaining ideas from my brain to my arm via his knowledge and talent! Highly recommended 👌🏽

If you’re thinking of getting tattoos you should definitely use Matt. The quality of the tattoos are incredible and I couldn’t be happier with the designs and the whole process from start to finish. This was my first experience of having tattoos and Matt makes you feel at ease for the whole day. I have already booked back in for more tattoos and will continue to use Matt in the future with no hesitation. Everyone has commented on the detail and quality of the tattoos!

I approached Matt to complete my first ever tattoo in March, to which I was fortunate enough to get something in the diary.
Admittedly, with it being my first tattoo and a piece that was planned in for the full day, I was nervous. Mostly to do with the anticipation of pain, and what the sensation was to be like. My friends have always described it as painful, so I was expecting a 7-8/10.
Matt’s style and craftsmanship, along with his chilled vibe created in his studio, made the whole experience, amazingly comfortable and relaxing. The pain for anyone who is interested is more like a 1-2/10. Most likely credited to how good he is at his job.
The result and the tattoo was fantastic, and I’m booked in already for my next session. I couldn’t recommend this guy enough, particularly for people wanting their first tattoos.

Without question one of the most talented, professional and amazing artists I’ve encountered. The Studio is a clean and welcoming location which immediately makes you feel comfortable. Matt always takes the time to listen to ideas, work out best size and placement to end up with an amazing design - people are constantly commenting how good they are! I’ve had numerous pieces done by Matt over the last few years and honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else…

From the moment I got in contact with Matt to discuss my tattoo ideas, I instantly felt at ease with the fact I’d made the right choice!
Everything from booking the date, through to the actual tattoo was so easy and professional!
Tattoo shops can sometimes feel a little intimidating, but from the minute I walked into Matt’s shop today, I felt relaxed and was super impressed by the diligence to cleanliness throughout the tattoo!!
I’m looking forward to the next tattoo with Matt already!!

I’ve had 4 tattoos done by Matt now and have been very happy with every one of them. Will definitely be getting a few more!
He has always been timely with his responses, and has listened to my ideas. His designs are very unique and I love the way he collaborates with me to work his style into my ideas.
He is very friendly and has always made me feel very welcome in his studio. He is always open to suggestions on the design and makes me feel comfortable to make small changes. He has worked with me every time to make a great tattoo.
He is very talented and I have full trust in him when I’m in the studio that I’m going to leave with a tattoo that I’m super happy with!

I’ve been working with Matt on a sleeve tattoo for a number of years. I had a loose idea of what I wanted when i first went in but was open to guidance and suggestion of how it could be turned into a full sleeve. Matt has been amazing; his talent is phenomenal! we are about 7 sessions in and almost complete (paused during pandemic). Hopefully finishing it off soon and working on designs for the next idea. I recommend Matt extremely highly.
