Great help and advice would highly recommend

John is extremely knowledgeable, reliable and a great communicator. He came out next day and gave us advice about our basement, which we were worried about and wanted work done to protect from damp in the future. He gave us a run down of what should be done, and really put our minds at rest. Would definitely use him and his team in future.

I spoke John he was an absolute gentleman. I watched his youtube video on HMO conversions and contacted him directly and he gave me the best guidance on HMO conversions. He spent time talking me through the whole builders process and gave me a schedule of works and what I should expect from a builder. Stumbled accross Johns Youtube videos when I was looking for help with a damp issue. Despite being quite a way from "base", John made the trip over to Rugeley and spent time with me thoroughly analysing, diagnosing and EXPLAINING my damp issue. When it came to WHAT could be done to resolve the issue, John was sympathetic to my circumstances and budget and offered various solutions. I had some work done in my office and showroom for the building I manage. Nothing was any trouble for John and his team they are very friendly, reliable and clean great workmanship and affordable. I would recommend Hype/John to anyone else. John will be my go to builder for any other projects I may have personal or business like this one.

Needed a quote for insurance work and house refurbishment after my mum's house was water damaged and Hype were very good. They came out and were punctual, they inspected the property, took measurements and suggested what work would be carried out before giving us a fully detailed quote for labour and materials. Very professional.

Came across Hype from a YouTube video when researching how to resolve a damp issue that was causing black mould. I’d assumed this was being caused by rising damp, but spoke to John over the telephone, who although could not take the on the job as we’re over 200 miles away, he went out of his way to give me specialist advice for free, confirming the mould isn’t being caused by rising damp but by another issue instead. This has saved me a significant amount of time and money! Thanks John!

Having used Hype building a couple of times ourselves my Father in law needed some roof work done ,a chimney lowering, and some much needed pointing work done. We contacted Hype and booked in the work. The lads turned up on time and explained everything to my Father in law .They have done a fantastic job and he is very happy with the work and so are we knowing we have a company we can trust, he also commented on how clean and tidy they left everything, I highly recommend Hype to anyone considering any building work

Had them in to quote for what i thought was going to be an expensive job. They instead identified what was a simple fix and corrected it for me. Very trustworthy as alot of builders would have quoted me for the bigger job. Needless to say i will be calling them for projects in the future. Very impressed!

Honestly, finding your forever home ain't easy. I think that's especially true if your dream is to find something that needs renovating so you can make it your own. Like many, I spent hours researching Youtube in the hope of finding some guidence and advice on 'what to look out for when buying a renovation project', and that's when I came across Hype Building. Their content is absolute gold and being able to see what they have achieved so far is evidence of their level of prfessionlism and eye for detail. So, I decided to reach out to the team and booked them to come see the property I wanted to buy, and I couln't be happier. Having spoken to John for what felt like hours about my ideas, the renovation and any niggling issue's he'd spotted during his inspection, I left feeling I had just made an important step towards realising our forever family home. I highly recommend them. I wish they were covering my area. My builder messed up and left the job. Then I approached these guys for suggestions how I can clear this mess. Although my house is outside the area these guys cover, they helped me to find a way. Open a branch at Solihull guys. You have a customer here :)

I live in a very old victorian terrace property up North and in a bit of a state with a damp issue I'm currently having inside my property. After noticing a smell of strong damp in my living room I decided to investigate it myself so I took out both my cabinets and fire surround only to be horrified by what I saw. My floor doesn't have a membrane and it's not good. After having no luck with damp proofing specialists I came across John's YouTube videos and decided to drop him an e-mail. A couple of days later John rang me and we had a nice chat on the phone. John answered all my concerns relating to this damp issue and advised me on the best options. I give John a 5 star review.

Introduced to John via a mutual friend, I was amazed by how responsive and helpful he was from the very beginning. John is the most down to earth, easy to talk to yet knowledgeable builder I have had the pleasure of dealing with, always available at the end of the phone for a query or to provide assistance (at all hours of the day) - and his extensive building knowledge is clearly evident and was invaluable in helping me with my building queries. John was kind enough to carry out some investigative works for me, and went above and beyond providing me with detailed video's and advice once he had completed his survey. I can't recommend my experience with John highly enough - and will definitely look to seek him out for any future building requirements. I would gladly recommend his company to others looking for a reliable builder. My advice is check out his YouTube channel as well - not only are his videos highly informative (and clearly demonstrate he knows his stuff) - but also hilarious.
