Dr Huertas and office make your surgery experience very comforting. They explain everything from very beginning. Dr Huertas is a very warm, compassionate & knowledgeable man. I really had no anxiety going into a liposuction surgery because of him but the experience was even better than I expected. I’m in my mid 60’s and really wanted to look better in my clothes but surprisingly I look better than I’d hoped. Some discomfort after but mine controlled all with Motrin- Tylenol. Definitely not something to have anxiety about- do this for yourself. I shouldn’t have waited as long as I did - but only did it because of him being the doctor with his kind bedside manner. I am now as happy with his staff !

I can only share from the Hormonal side of Dr Huertas not the plastic surgery side.
This has been a horrific experience. After getting the pellets inserted 09-24 I have had multiple periods, lasting 4-7 days, cramping and horrific breast tenderness. I have called several times only to be told to wear a sports bra and double up on my progesterone pills. These side affects were normal! I had all the blood work done before I went in, so he obviously didn’t even look at my prior levels and overdosed me on estrogen.. I had been on an Estrogen patch prior to the implant with no bleeding.
I did not like his bedside manner. He stood towering over me the whole time, laughing at my questions. I never received a follow up call to see how everything was going after all these concerns. Several times I was told I was speaking to the nurse, but I know it was the girl at the front desk, since when does the nurse answer the phone on multiple occasions? Obviously, I do not recommend this doctor for your hormonal needs.

Dr. Otto Huerta is a specialist in bioidentical hormones and since I made the decision to undergo hormone treatment I feel super well and very happy with energy, my skin is not dry and the joints of the bones do not hurt during menopause. If you suffer from hot flashes and depression and anxiety, I recommend that you consult him if you are suffering from all these symptoms and you will feel better.
