I'm giving this place 3 stars and not 0 because of Maria. She was the only one there that gave me 300% respect while I was there. The black girl who did my mpc evaluation was so disrespectful to me; I ended up getting discharged. She quoted me in a disrespectful tone "YOU'RE NOT GOING TO THE NAVIGATION CENTER ANY TIME SOON". She even had the nerve and audacity to judge me because of my situation and told me that if I do get housing it would be a group home for one month. Respectfully lady go kick rocks.
Updated: I just called houston recovery center for my medical records and the white woman with the short (jax or jack I don't know how to spell her name with the shorthair hung up on my face and pretended to don't know who I am. First of all lady my name isn't obi. How would you feel if I called you something you're not. Oh wait a minute you do. I'm writing a grievance report towards you. DROP TO TWO STARS. Maria is the only reason why this place has 2 stars. God bless you ma'am.
Sincerely
Nick
Terrible terrible terrible place I was there for two days and it was nothing they could do to help me at all. All because I am not using drugs and I don't have a mental problemp I do not recommend anybody to go to this place

I stayed here for 3 weeks because I didn't have a place to go. It is better than being in jail or homeless but some staff are very rude and bossy. A staff member discharged me because I asked him for a cup of water so he got angry and insisted I get discharged and expected me to beg them to stay. I packed my stuff and hit the exit door. I Would never go back.

Staff are great. I was treated with respect and dignity. I forgot his name, but the white guy who works weekends was nice and down to earth. The short woman who gave meds was also very respectful and made me feel human. Only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because the case worker just wanted to get me out of there and when he came to the rehab I was at, he said he would speak with me later and just left. I felt blown off and lied to, I was told I would be guaranteed housing and it was a lie.

Management personnel are unethical liars, bullies, thieves, and unprofessional. Tralanquelina Hinton is a master manipulator that steals from the company and the people she is superior to. Borrows money that she never pays back. Thanks to her reoccurring gambling habit.

Almost fought a crack head for telling him that he could leave any time via the fire exit. He didn't like that and had to get moved to another place. After that I got life advice from a heroin addict who spent multiple nights there a week. Figured he wasn't the best to learn from but seemed like a nice guy. Talked with a dude who had no idea how he got there and was worried the cops stole his coke, beat my breathalyzer record, slept in a half egg shell bed. 10/10, wouldn't ever go back.
