Hotel Serendipity Tortuguero Adults Only Reviews

We stayed for 3 night at hotel serendipity. The room and service was excellent. Very homey hotel with good vibes. We took a boat tour and night walk which was organized by the hotel and with johnny as our guide, we enjoyed them very much, seen a lot of birds, frogs, iguanas, lizards, spiders, monkeys, sloths and a snake. Great experiences although the heavy rain (that was part of the experience)

Hotel très bien situé dans le village de Tortuguero, donc environnement beaucoup plus typique que des resorts isolés. Par contre, bien sûr, un peu plus bruyant (les chambres ne sont pas très bien insonorisées, d'où le 4/5). Mais quel plaisir de voir les singes passer devant votre fenêtre le matin, et d'être à pied de toutes les activités et restaurants. Il est préférable de demander les chambres à l'étage (il n'y en a que 6 en tout, dont 3 en haut), et idéalement au bout de la passerelle puisque, comme un motel, les fenêtres donnent sur la coursive en haut et la cour en bas. L'accueil par l'équipe est exceptionnelle. Merci en particulier à Cooper, qui s'est mis en quatre pour satisfaire toutes nos demandes, et, entre autres, à Sofia. Une propreté incroyable (chambre faite plusieurs fois pas jour, dès que vous sortez), un super petit déjeuner (on vous conseille de le prendre au 2eme hôtel du groupe, El Deseo, avec vue mer), un pressing offert, une cuisine equipée, un minibar gratuit. Une super organisation des excursions sur un fleuve magique. Un service tout à fait à la hauteur des 5 étoiles que nous fréquentons habituellement. Bref, une belle étape à Tortuguero. Merci à toute l'équipe!

Basic rooms but great location on beach front next to the wildlife trails. Staff excellent. Viviana and her team were always on hand to help with any issues and help make our two night stay so memorable.

סיימנו ביקור בקוסטה ריקה כאן. זכינו לשירות הכי טוב במדינה שהשירות בה מעולה. חדרים מבריקים, צוות חייכן שיוצא מגדרו לספק לנו שהיה נעימה, קופר המנהל ליווה אותנו טרם ההגעה בסבלנות ואדיבות לכל שאלותינו, הצוות במלון זמין חייכן ומאוד שירותי, את החדר ניקו מספר פעמים ביום, החליפו מגבות אחרי כל מקלחת וסייעו באופן יוצא מן הכלל. לבקשתי, הוכנה עוגת יום הולדת לבת זוגתי, ולבקשתי סרבו לקחת על ההזמנה המיוחדת תשלום. הסיורים בשמורה דרך המלון בוצעו על ידי ג׳וני, בעל ידע סבלנות ואנגלית טובה. המלון ממוקם בלב הכפר מה שמאפשר לחוות את חיי המקומיים וצורת חייהם/המגורים. שגיא הבעלים ובת זוגתו סופיה ארחו אותנו באדיבות ובחום רב. מומלץ ביותר!!!!!!

Nos costó mucho decidirnos por el alojamiento en Tortuguero y creo que acertamos de pleno. La ubicación es perfecta ya que está en el pueblo de Tortuguero con muchas tiendas y restaurantes cerca. En nuestro caso cogimos la opción de todo incluido y la verdad es que la comida estaba deliciosa y siempre te daban dos opciones para elegir. También nos ayudaron a organizar las actividades durante nuestra estancia y nos prestaron botas de agua para hacer el sendero Jaguar.

The Hotel Serendipity is a perfect accommodation in the middle of the beautiful nature of Tortuguero. The monkeys are even visiting you :) Cooper and his team do everything to make you feel comfortable and support you with the best trip possible. This includes, clean and nice rooms, booking of activities, loan off equipment (especially for raining days), and delicious local food. I recommend the hotel to anybody.

Overall a good place to stay, beachfront, with super friendly staff.

The hotel was a great place to stay for a trip to Tortuguero and especially as a couple looking to get away! We were very comfortable, had a beautiful room, big bed, small kitchenette and a nice sitting area outside where we could see tons of toucans, macaws, hawks and other bird traffic. It was also very close to town but not in town and very close to the beach. We also booked our boat tour and night walk through the hotel and we found them both to be great. Big shout out to Cooper, Jose, Alicia, Katon, Johnny and everyone else who made our stay wonderful. For us this was the very end of a month long trip throughout CR so we really wanted to relax, walk and enjoy something quiet for a few days and this hit the mark. Here is a keel-billed toucan I saw while having a glass of wine on the balcony outside our room.

I visited Serendipity for a couple of nights whilst visiting Torteguero. The hotel was very well maintained and the staff were incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend.

The room was okay, and the staff was great—extremely helpful. However, the hotel is located in the middle of a slum—extremely dirty any unhygienic. The ceilings are made from tin and when it rains at night the noise is unbearable and it is impossible to sleep. Given the terrible location and the exorbitant price, i strongly recommend to stay away.

Hôtel très sympa, bel emplacement proche de la plage. Belle chambre mais manque de rangement pour les vêtements. L’équipe est très professionnel et souriante. Petit déjeuner top 👍🏻
