Gino was very professional and he knew what he was doing, he asked if I wanted to change the refrigerator door and he quoted me a price, I asked he could fix for temporary use he said he would try, after he fixed it he said not to open the door till the next day, and it was solid, Thank you Gino, I’m going to tell my friend and my Ohana (Family) about your service awesome, two. You can also tell by how they reply to people’s reviews how unprofessional they are. Firstly when I spoke to Michelle or Natalie on the phone she said a free inspection and all of a sudden after Geno left, I called them for the full estimate and she said $845, but the inspection from earlier is $225 and would go towards the estimated $845 repair, That's where I was very confused. Geno all he did in the max 10-15 minutes he was even here, all he did was look at the top of my grandmas fridge, added refridgerant (without my consent) , unplugged our fridge, told us to defrost it with the doors open. Didn't even ask me in advance if I wanted to continue and said "I just jumped into it" as in didn't review anything. I get that our fridge needs work on but other companies are saying everything was done wrong. They said "To leave the fridge on and to diagnose it, there was no need to remove all the food and unplug it", Also 5 other companies said this is not a good company and to charge $225 is a lot compared to $150. Everything seemed every rushed and as if he needed to get to where ever to help out another technician with the phone calls he was getting while at my house. Geno left, he was on a phone 2 phone calls and it seemed like he was needed to go, he said he will be back tomorrow to figure it out, SO how are you quoting me $845 without diagnosing? This is crazy. I will fight to get the $225 inspection fee off. Wish I read the yelp reviews since I am a yelp elite, I should've known better, I browsed from the internet and trusted google reviews. If you want honest reviews check them out on yelp, they are going through the same exact thing as I am.

We are Sub-Zero Factory Authorized service. Our service fee is $225.00 - this was explained via telephone conversation when the appt was scheduled. We do not give free inspections . This is twisted and made up. There is either some misunderstanding or this is some sort of blackmail to collect their money back. We scheduled an additional visit for next day because the unit had to be defrosted. No additional charges have been made. An estimate was provided for 845 dollars that included the 225. Customer then states that they are getting rid of the unit altogether. The appt has been canceled. This is taken out of context and this is not correct information .

Honolulu appliance repair knows how to take advantage of the elderly! Do they fix anything? I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone! STAY AWAY Since Geno the owner responded. I asked for a breakdown of the estimate. She said she doesn't have it. So you're telling me that she only has the amount of $800 written on a paper to give to me? Sounds like you're setting her up for failure. You guys still haven't said which or what part needs to be replaced. Your manager just said that she can give me $100 off "the part". Something fishy going on. Your manager then proceeds to say that "the parts guy put the wrong part on the estimate" more fishy Don't threaten me boy. If your manager wants to talk without being on hold, she might get another nasty remark. Nothing to do with the elderly. Now if that's the kind of response the owner gives, what else can you expect from the rest???

I am a property manager and this company is a scam!!! They issued charges for jobs they never completed or arrived fro, such as "diagnostics / assesstments" that they never did. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a disappointing experience with Honolulu Appliance Repair Pro. I was charged a $195 service call fee for a washer inspection. The technician was onsite for less than five minutes, did not open the machine or perform any real diagnostic steps, briefly shook the unit, and then provided a $645 repair quote. I would have been fine paying a premium if a thorough inspection was done, but that did not happen. When I called the office to question the charge, the response I received was dismissive and unprofessional. I did not move forward with the repair through this company and chose another provider.

Alfredo was great! Even came a bit early which freed up my morning. Cleared out the beach sand in the exhaust hose in my Whirlpool dryer in no time. Explained everything he was doing in a happy, go-lucky Filipino humorous way! Even showed me how to do it myself next time to save $$.

There are other appliance repair shops to use. Price wise on the expensive side. Billing department seems confused. No free estimates Appears to be +$175 an hr. If they don't have "the part" on hand. You'll be charged full rate on the return visit. Plus the initial service charge. Dear owner...recheck my billing..otherwise..all true

All false! Service fee is due at the time of visit . Every customer is informed before appt is scheduled . If repairs are needed , the service fee applies towards the cost of the repair. Our work is guaranteed . 90 days parts and labor . Even if the invoice wasn’t clear , every file is on record in our data base . Including all charges and part numbers . 90 days from the day of the the visit .

Techs-Elijah and Addison were phenomenal! They called when they were on their way, arrived timely, and were the "Dynamic Duo" once they arrived, set foot in the door, and started to work on my microwave. They worked extremely well as a team, were careful, considerate and professional in their interaction as well as their technical skills. Extremely kind and respectful as well.
