We had water leak and our downstairs carpet was soaked. Homeway Construction was recommended and they reached out to me on a Saturday. Within 2 hours Tyler was at my home to assess the damage. Later that evening, Tyler came back with his equipment to dry our carpet. Thank you Tyler and Homeway Construction.
My experience with Homeway Construction and Restoration was great and I would recommend them to anyone needing work as well as using them myself in the future for any work I want or need done to my home. I did not have to do any heavy lifting, all the work was done by them from the contacting the insurance company to the actual work. They even came to me and picked up the checks all I had to do was call no matter where I was to make as convenient for me as possible. They did my ceilings, walls, light fixtures, painted and my hardwood floors with no problem and no complaint. I trust Homeway you should too.

I cannot explain how amazing the people at Homeway are. My house had a pipe burst from out of nowhere. I contacted Homeway and a gentleman named Tyler came out and assessed the situation. He assured me that my house would be taken care of quickly and everything done "the right way".

It’s been a year since I’ve purchased my house, and from the jump I was skeptical about the roof. Shingles looked worn, and there were several dips and low spots on the roof that I was concerned with. The original inspector of the house said all of this is “normal wear and tear” I didn’t agree with him, but I told myself I wasn’t the professional, so I went with it. Within the first year I proved myself right and ended up with 7 roof leaks that I was aware of and several missing shingles. Rowdy, who I have known for over a decade recently posted that he has added a roofing team to Homeway. The moment I knew that I reached out to him and less than 24 hours later I received a call from Jared Butler. Jared, who is a project manager with Homeway, knew from the jump I was concerned with the damage I’ve received. He made it out to my house the next day to do the “FREE inspection” and instantly he knew what we were dealing with. He was able to identify, the damaged shingles, where the leaks were coming from and knew that all the low spots in the roof were indeed not “normal wear and tear”. Turns out the original inspector completely missed that my roof was missing close to 15’ of supports/rafters. Jared expedited the process with my insurance company immediately. Every step of the way Jared and the Homeway team were there for my family and I. From the initial inspection, the tear off, having to support my roof the right way and to the final nail. I had piece of mind that I made the right decision. If you have any concerns with your roof or are afraid that the next storm may just be the one to do it in, don’t hesitate. Give Homeway call, I promise they will be there with you every step of the way!

Homeway did a great job on my attic remodel. We had several custom requirements and HomeWay had people who could do it all! The quality of their work was amazing. Their attention to detail was incredible! Eddy managed the project, kept everyone on track and stayed in constant communication on the schedule, delay and surprises! Other than a few days lost due to inspection issues, everything else was delivered like clockwork. We love our new bonus room and painted cabinets! Homeway Construction and Restoration recently completed a mold mitigation and closet rebuild project for us. First, throughout the process, everyone showed up when they said they would. They were prompt, professional, and very thorough. Both teams of contractors took pains to ensure that the area was very clean when they were finished with the jobs. The closet rebuild team led by A Grissom communicated frequently to make certain they were rebuilding the closet to my specifications. If we need further work in the future we will use this company.

We had a mixed experience with Homeway. On the positive side, the water mitigation team was fantastic and went above and beyond to help us during a difficult time in January. We appreciated their professionalism and expertise.
However, our experience with the reconstruction side of the company was disappointing. We had intended to use Homeway for this service, but after leaving messages in February and March, we never received a response. Despite our efforts to follow up, we were left in the dark and without any updates or communication.
It wasn't until mid-April that someone from Homeway reached out to schedule a meeting to discuss the reconstruction process. Unfortunately, despite our repeated calls and texts, we were unable to get in touch with them again.
What's even more concerning is that we were told that our house was considered a "low priority" and that they were prioritizing more lucrative projects first. This lack of transparency and communication was frustrating and disappointing.
To make matters worse, when we reviewed the invoice provided by Erica for the furniture move into the storage container, we noticed several errors and overbilling with hours and supplies. Specifically, they invoiced for 8 hours x 4 people for the move in and move out, but were only onsite for 3 hours for the move into the pod by 4 people. They also billed for packing up almost the entire house, but only supplied and packed 8 total boxes, the rest was done by us. These discrepancies were not only frustrating, but also required lots of time to itemize every charge.
Overall, while we appreciated the work of the water mitigation team, our experience with the reconstruction side of Homeway was extremely disappointing. We would caution others to be prepared for potentially slow communication and unclear priorities, as well as potential errors and overbilling.
