Home Pride Reviews

Foundation Repair I was extremely nervous when the property inspector discovered a crack in the foundation of my property that I had put on the market. Not knowing the extent of the damage or the potential repair costs made the situation even more stressful. I then contacted Rich Lee, who was very understanding of my need to get the problem resolved within a tight timeframe and budget. Rich kept me consistently updated on the progress and repair schedule. He also worked directly with the inspector to ensure the repairs met expectations and addressed the issue properly, giving me peace of mind that it would not become a concern during the sale. I was very pleased that the foundation repair was completed within my expectations for both time and budget. I highly recommend Rich Lee and his team to anyone in need of reliable, professional foundation repair services!

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Rich Lee and his whole team at Home Pride Construction! When my husband and I had an emergency construction need we did not know where to turn or where to start. After multiple contractors were making us feel like our unique situation was basically hopeless, we miraculously found Rich Lee. He took care of everything from the drawings, to the permits, to the engineering issues, dealing with the inspectors, to the demo, and the reconstruction. His team of skilled men showed up every day as planned and worked very hard to make sure everything was exactly how it had to be. He made a once hopeless situation have hope, and made the impossible, possible! I honestly would not have wanted anyone else taking care of us in our time of need! Highly recommend this extremely skilled and trustworthy team!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a 1 star review. We have no record of ever working with you on another project. Please contact our office if there is something you would like to discuss. We try hard to deliver the best service we can for our clients, so a 1 star review is clearly not from anyone who hired us.

It felt like a scam from the very beginning. Never submitted our plans to the county. We terminated the agreement after not hearing back for over a year.

Hi Sarah,

We’ve reviewed our records carefully and cannot find any signed contract, active project, or submitted plans associated with your name or address. We also have no record of an approved scope or authorization to submit plans on your behalf.

For clarity: we never submit plans to a county without a signed agreement, approved drawings, and written client authorization, as required by California permitting rules.

If you believe this review was posted in error or are referring to a different company, we’d be happy to clarify. You’re welcome to contact us directly so we can resolve any confusion.

Rich was great, he was responsive to my call fast. I found him to be very personal and knowledgeable. I mistakenly posted a negative report on him, but I got him completely mixed up with another GC. Rich has a wealth of construction knowledge and will be able to help you in all aspect of a home remodel. I highly recommend him and his team for our next home remodel. Thanks Rich

We used Home Pride for a kitchen remodel and addition to our home. After meeting with several contractors to discuss the project, Rich Lee stood out as being not only the most personable, but also the most knowledgeable. The online reviews seemed almost too good to be true, but our experience with Rich and his crew lived up to all the five star testimonials from others. Home Pride completed our project on time, and did not deviate from their original quote, despite some unforeseen obstacles. Rich is also very quick to respond to texts and emails, or to make time to meet with you in person to discuss things. Overall, we’d hesitate to use anybody but Home Pride for future projects and would certainly recommend them to anyone.

Highly recommend Home Pride Construction. Really enjoyed working with Rich and his entire crew. Some of my fears about hiring a contractor for my whole house remodel were whether they would show up, do the work, and keep to the agreed timeline. Home Pride delivered on all. And they made my house not only safer, but also more beautiful. They are a family run business with honest, hard working and skilled people. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Rich and the Home Pride team did a stellar job of transforming my space into a new adu. Hard to believe that my former garage is now a cute kitchen with beautiful tilework and living space, and my existing bedroom and bathroom got a major glow up. I highly recommend Home Pride and feel fortunate to have found such a talented crew with super solid work ethic!

Home Pride is a local family business who does real quality work. I have worked with them personally and for my business. They have done remodels, put in ramps for disabled family members, and to say the least, they go above and beyond for their clients. On the business side, they are great to work alongside with. Very detailed, professional, and all around good guys. From full remodels to updating the house, they can take care of all you construction needs. Five stars.

Can’t say enough great things about Rich and his crew at Home Pride. They really do take pride in your home. I had a side door fall off the hinges in the storm. I called Home pride and within a couple of hrs he had someone out at the house taken measurements and then by the afternoon the door was already replaced and done professionally And if that wasn’t enough I had some hardwood floors pieces coming up and he fixed those as well. And for a reasonable price. Thank you Home pride for a job well done. John Nitenson.

Home Pride exceeded my expectations from the initial call. Ever since we bought our home in Burlingame, California my wife and I knew we would be interested in renovating. Out of a multitude of contractors Richard was able to deliver a phenomenal presentation that assured our needs would be met and our budget wouldn’t be mangled. I can’t believe that we finally get to wake up in the home we’ve dreamed of. I highly recommend Home Pride Construction for whole home remodeling!
