Shame. Products are ok and prices are reasonable. The sales guy was helpful and delivery was scheduled to a time of my preference, the delivery guy was also really nice and helpful - dropping the items where requested.
However - I ordered a fair few sleepers, some full. 2.40m length and over 20 1.2m ones. Unfortunately it seems whoever cut my order at the mill is incapable of cutting a piece of wood exactly in half. A few mm deviation would have been acceptable but a full 1.5 cm out - it's a bit unbelievable - it seems half of my order was correctly cut and the other half was not. Generally this might have been usable (although the wrong lengths were quite inconsistent - some 0.5cm out some 1.5cm out) but I had to match a preexisting installation that was made of correctly cut 1.2m stuff. Due to limited time it was quicker to disassemble the preexisting installation, recut all the poorly measured homeliegh ones to consistent lengths and then modify the existing to match.
Boo.
The overall message here is it seems like there is very poor quality control from the mill, id recommend if you buy any sleepers from here get the full length ones and cut yourself or if you need them to be cut for you, go somewhere else where the mill workers are capable of doing simple maths and using a measuring tape.

Great business I have used these for building materials for over 26 years and have always found them helpful and will always go that extra mile to help and fit in a delivery if they can, even if you have left it to the last minute, they will always try to help you out, very competitive prices and staff on site and delivery drivers will always help, even if you ask them to carry the timber to your car , not much else you can ask for from a business
