Used Home Depot’s service to have tiles installed in my home. Total came out to nearly 11-15k. I swear to god these guys are bad and it must’ve been like this way before covid and no one had the energy to articulate the shenanigans; 1st, Home Depot’s coordinator intentionally gets this work done in a manner to legally have no accountability when the job goes awry. 2nd, their contractors also intentionally gets work done in manners identical to the above. Every part of the work, regardless of who, are done by separate contractors from different companies. So, if one messes up, they can literally blame someone else and when you get to Home Depot, they ultimately deny it. For me, I’m reporting now since this one is a severe one and I trialed and errored enough to make this conclusion. Pain starts and ends with Home Depot and Crew2. The guy, Jose, is like the supervisor for the tile installation. He shows up once and when it’s time to start, he leaves us with his crew that doesn’t speak a lick of English — All issues that we have to report will have to wait until he is on site for full clarity. They cut so many corners to get the job done and the worst one I have to share here is that when they get to the bathrooms, after removing the toilet to set tiles, they poured cement into the drain to avoid having to go outside. We already noticed the issues after they set the toilet back in, but after about 3 wax seals and 2 toilets later, it was indeed the cement they poured in. We got it fixed after snaking the camera in there but I’m hoping everyone sees this post will be careful when going with Home Depot. Their ethical choices when handling mid sized contracts with Home Depot and people like Jose from Crew2 is non-existent. Reflecting back, it was absolutely suspicious when he rolled up to my house with chains bigger than 2chains trying to talk game. He’s part of the trash service pyramid scheme and thinks he’s big dog; never seen such delusional contractors act so brazen and entitled. The only pleasant experience I had was with the guy that handled sinks and toilets. Wow. Everyone besides the toilet and sink guy should all go under.

Specifically went into the store to order my washer and dryer rather than online after the associate I spoke with on the phone told me if would help their local store. Got up early the very next day but no one was available to assist. Had to very painfully watch an associate from another department slowly place my order online which I could have done from home on a few minutes. I confirmed the order. They brought TWO washers and NO dryer. Replacement delivery not for another week. Lesson learned big box stores don’t need “help” from their customers. They need to train competent staff and provide an acceptable bare minimum level of customer service. See from other reviews this is a weakness of this store. Loyal customer lost.

I've never been into a home depot where the associates have zero desired to help the customer. What are the worst experience I've ever had at a hardware store.

Purchased a refrigerator from the greenwood location. They sent me a scratch and dent model. When I first complained they said I had to call the actual store (greenwood). The first two times I called customer service they transferred me to appliances but no one answered. When I called the third time they said too bad after 48 hours they don’t care. I will pay more somewhere else than deal with unethical and dishonest company

A grill that's scratched, dented and dusty from sitting on the showroom floor all season or a ridding lawnmower that has been displayed outside all season with a scratched front bumper and a faded seat from the sun isn't new. It's a used floor model and should be sold as such. It's dishonest to be selling these items as new.

Was very rude, had an emergency made it before closing they turned the lights off on me and treated me terrible even though it was still 10 minutes before close. They even tried locking doors before closing will not be back.
