This shop cannot be trusted to do a job right the the 1st time. They charge top dollar but their work will have to be repeated in 3 to 4 years.... conveniently when is is out of their warranty period

At the time of your original repair, our warranty was 12 months or 12,000 miles. Since then, we’ve expanded our coverage to 3 years or 36,000 miles to provide even greater peace of mind for our customers.

In your case, the first bearing repair was performed at 76,809 miles, and the second occurred at 130,672 miles. That means the vehicle was driven nearly 4 years and over 53,000 miles after the initial repair—well beyond both the warranty in place at the time and even our current extended warranty coverage.

If the issue had occurred anywhere close to the warranty period, we absolutely would have stood behind both our parts and labor, as we consistently do for our customers.

We take pride in our work and always aim to be fair and transparent. If you’d like to discuss this further, we’re happy to speak with you directly.

We've been going to HMI for over 15 years and while they have always been great...they keep getting better. Still straight forward honest evaluations with reasonably priced work. In my most recent visit, HMI provided a comprehensive report (with pictures) on my vehicle. Enormously informative and very helpful for me to understand my vehicle's condition and plan my future maintenance needs. Professional, competent, friendly and fairly priced...none better.

What can I say? Since buying my car, I had to go to somebody that my warranty required. When warning lights go on, I have to have them checked out. I would rather deal with them than with police during a pullover. After they did their work, I learned how to do a few things myself.
