The Hitchin Post venue is perfect. So clean and has everything you would need. It's the perfect venue for any kind of get together.

The Hitchin Post was a wonderful venue for a wedding. As part of the catering team it was so nice that the kitchen was fully furnished with any appliance, utensil, serving dishes and decorations. We only had to worry about bringing the food. On top of that the owner and her sister were amazing!! They kept our charcuterie board stocked the whole time and the best part they had the clean up done by the end of the wedding! We just had to load our stuff in the car and leave.

The Hitchin Post is the most beautiful Venue we found in the Broken Bow area! It was also the best value. Gina, the owner, was so kind and helpful from our very first visit to the venue all the way to our wedding day. She was very responsive to our questions and was accommodating to our requests when we wanted to make extra visits to the venue to take measurements, etc. Gina and her sister Tina were even present during the wedding to help with ceremony details and putting food out at the reception! She even prayed with my wife, Kaitlyn, before the ceremony! We had such a wonderful experience with The Hitchin Post, and our wedding turned out just perfect! Thanks, Gina!

Our wedding day was perfect, and Gina and Tina had a lot to do with that! They were so kind and helpful. The venue was beautiful, clean, and air-conditioned well in the July heat. Gina worked well with us in the months leading up to the wedding day, then helped with food restocking, clean up, and logistics on the day of. Highly recommend this venue!

Never been to a nicer venue, never been treated as kind to as we were, never needed anything that this lady Gina Wright, her sister and daughter didn’t make happen, and believe you me we Needed a lot. Never have I ever had so many things go wrong at one occasion as we did. The DJ’s beautiful wife Jamie Kirk’s jumped in and decorated the cake to try to cover up that disappointment. All in all it was the most beautiful amazing wedding I’ve attended. Thanks to everyone for making the Housers day go off perfect. 1000% would use this venue again.

The venue was absolutely stunning! We had run into a few slight issues day over but the event staff and Gina were absolutely on it. I loved working with them to have the bride one of the best days of her life. The venue was simple yet so stunningly elegant. I couldn’t have imaged a better place to host any celebration. Thank you so much for all that you did!

Gina was an amazing venue host. She went beyond what I had expected with the help of her family. The wedding crowd grew beyond our expectations with so much family and friends that they jumped in and began putting up more tables during the ceremony and as we finished a rain was coming in and they were on spot to help pull in chairs and decorations. She and her family jumped in in serving food with our friends and helping move the event along so I could enjoy our daughters wedding as well. I didn't expect anything other than the building for the day as is in most cases of venue rentals. This place was equipped with additional decorations, cooking needs in a spacious kitchen, and so much more. In many events I have assisted in over the years I can honestly say I've never met a hostess that took on the responsibilities that Gina did. She truly cares your event is as beautiful as you want it to be and definitely stepped in to help when needed although it was never expected. Gina you've done an amazing job on creating the easy set up venue and your family are just as great as you are for helping with a wedding that had so many that came to witness the bonding Love of Newly Weds.

The Hitchin’ Post is the most beautiful venue, but not only is it gorgeous, it’s equipped with everything needed for a special day. Gina allowed access to all the amenities, chairs, tables, decor, etc. at no additional cost. Gina was so kind and supportive through the planning process and was such a doll on the day of the wedding. She and her family came to the venue to assist before, during and after the ceremony. She was a blessing on the big day and helped everything run smoothly. The Hitchin’ Post rental wasn’t just a venue, it was an experience and such a beautiful one!

The hosts were absolutely awesome! She made the experience so easy and even helped serve food as we was short a person, she jumped in and never gave it another thought. The venue it self was set up perfectly, and beautifully designed, and tucked away for privacy, you don’t have tons of traffic going by as your trying to enjoy your moment. We have no complaints on anything and would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

Your $4200/day rental fee would be better spent elsewhere! We will never rent here again. They have a cheap, particle board walkway into the front door. There was no hot water when we got there. The tables were dirty and chairs were strewn about. We had to clean old, rotten food out of the refrigerator to make room for our food. The bride and groom suites upstairs were like a furnace, the ventilation is horrible in these rooms. The girls had to undress to be able to bear the heat. The lighting for the bride maid’s area is dingy and inadequate. There is no lock on the bathroom w/ shower upstairs, I actually had someone walk in on me because of this. The batteries for the candles are not maintained. There were no trash bags and not enough paper towels. When we booked this venue we were told we would have the help of the owner and her sister “to do whatever we needed done” throughout the day. We had neither, the sister was gone to Alaska and the owner was watching her 2 small grandchildren, and watering plants for her neighbor. The owner did pop in from time to time, once to suggest we change our greenery on the stairs “because that’s how everyone else does it.” In the small amount of time that the owner was actually there she had squabbles with the mother of the bride, sister of the bride, and a groomsman. She approached the father of the bride’s table DURING the reception and said “Will you go ahead and pay me for the tea pitcher you broke” I had already told her I would pay her afterwards. In my opinion that was very tacky of her. She also asked if she could have some cake to take home to her husband, before we had even served all our guests. Again, tacky in my opinion as we don’t even know this lady. She was snippy (in my opinion) regarding the use of the few kitchen decorations that were taken two steps from the kitchen and placed on the cake table. After the squabbles she went around sowing discord (in my opinion) by texting the bride and informing her of the squabbles. For as much as we paid for this venue I definitely expected more.The owner did help serve enchiladas at about 6:30 pm, but in my opinion that was too little, too late after all the strife caused.

This venue is a beautiful piece of heaven, it’s modern rustic fits any style of event you are wanting to host , its white interior is awesome so no matter the color it matches. There is no need to have to hunt a table and chair vendor because it’s all there, I’m talking very nice banquet chairs, decorations you may use for your tables, all there! The kitchen is amazing plus a place for open bar that is just beautiful. Then you have the dressing rooms upstairs and let me tell you they thought of EVERYTHING ! All I can say is wow! Now to the owners, Ms. Gina has poured her heart and soul into this venue and it shows, she’s amazing to work with, I highly recommend The Hitchin Post, using this venue will take have the stress out of your event because everything is at your fingertip.

This is a beautiful venue in a secluded quiet area! My husband and I were able to have our dream wedding and celebrate with all of our family and friends. The owners were very helpful with whatever we needed and pulled it off in a short amount of time, thank you Gina Wright! Oklahoma Blooms did the coordinating and did an amazing job!!
