KitchenAid dishwasher failed. Travis came out, identified the problem immediately, left and came back within an hour with a new circulation pump, and wrapped up the job, same day.

I hate leaving poor reviews. I had high hopes for this company considering so many good reviews - maybe I just got the D team today. Donovan went over to look at my washer for 5 minutes - then immediately sent me the invoice for $130. He later determined that BOTH the control board and the lid switch need to be replaced. Which one is causing the problem, who knows, because he didn't diagnose it. To top things off, I got a $575 estimate to repair a washer I can get new for $450. Waste of time and money.

So I chose this company because they claimed women owned. I paid the $69 dollars for person to come and look at washer. They charged me another $69 that would have been credited back if they did repair. They could not get the parts and could not do repair. I would have went with them if they could fix it because I support women run businesses. I asked if the second $69 could be taken off. No refunds was their answer. Not happy.

My technician, Jonathon, was wonderful!! He was professional and completed service in a timely fashion. He clearly explained what he did and I was very satisfied with everything. I will definitely use Hillside again, and will recommend them as well....

This is the worse company I have ever done business with. They serviced my dishwasher last week of November. The dishwasher for the last few weeks has been displaying an F-13 code again. I had my plumber look at it when he was here for a hot water tank repair and he said the new parts were installed incorrectly and to call them back. I called Hillside back and they said my 90 day warranty is up for parts. That was literally two weeks ago the part warranty expired. Even so, I said this was an install issue and not part. They want an entire new service call to come out. It took months to get these parts then installed them incorrectly. The installer was not familiar with this brand and on phone with Teck support throughout install. For 800 dollars I learned a valuable lesson . I have issued a charge back with American Express so hopefully I get my money back .

I would strongly caution anyone considering Hillside Appliance Services. I paid $129 for a diagnostic visit for an LG refrigerator error. The technician said it needed a new main control board and told me $69 of the diagnostic fee would be credited toward labor if I approved the repair. On 1/7/2026, the board was installed and I was charged $579.95. The error returned the next day. After multiple follow-up visits, the technician ultimately removed the new board and reinstalled my original one, meaning the repair never fixed the issue. When I requested a refund for the removed board, the company refunded only $179.95 and claimed $400 was labor, even though no such labor charge appeared anywhere on the estimate or receipt. I still have the receipts and estimate showing exactly how the charges were presented. The call with the owner became rude and unprofessional. I paid hundreds for a repair that didn’t work and charges that were never clearly disclosed.

Johnathan came to check and repair washer, he was polite and professional. When done he explained thoroughly, the problem and solution. He also found something else when he moved washer away from wall that may have been preventing proper drainage for washer. Johnathan Rocks! Thank you

The technician was very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient at his job. We originally hired a plumber to Come and install a dishwasher and it was not done very professional , so the Hillside technician Mark came out and installed it correctly. Would deffinately recommend and will use again if needed for a different appliance.

Charged me $4,455.00 to repair a GE Monogram refrigerator and now the refrigerator makes loud noises. We have called multiple times and they have been unable or unwilling to resolve . The noises from the refrigerator are unbearable and unsettling .

Company charged me $4,455.00 to repair my GE monogram refrigerator and now the refrigerator makes loud horrible noises . We have contacted them multiple times and they are unable or unwilling to fix the problem they caused. The loud noises are unbearable and unsettling. Leonard claimed he would contact GE and figure out how to fix the noises caused by this company's own expensive "repair" but now he won't even return our calls.
