⸻ “After over 20 years as patients, my family and I are leaving this practice due to unacceptable care and extremely overpriced services. Two years ago, I received progressive lenses that were supposed to have a +1.50 near add and was charged for the progressive portion, even though the boost was wrong. As a first-time progressive wearer, I didn’t realize the error until my son received his progressive lenses. When I raised the issue, the optometrist first admitted there was a tiny boost far below my prescription, and staff in the eye care center initially said the lenses were single-vision. When the manager insisted the glasses were correct, the staff then claimed they couldn’t see the progressive lens because it was scratched and implied that being able to see at all excused the error. The manager refused to fix the mistake, and when I said we would no longer return, there was no concern — just ‘OK, see you later.’ We can no longer trust this practice and strongly caution anyone considering it.”

I had great experience with the eye doctor at Highline but I must say that the support operations are quite below par - consistently misplacing orders, and unable to respond to queries regarding order status. It has been a terrible experience with their customer support staff.

This five stars is shout out for Emily, the Lab technician works there. She is absolutely awesome. I had some issue with the new glasses I ordered, and she was really knowledgeable and patient with me to get it right. She adjusted my frame for more than 20 times to make sure I feel comfortable with them. I don't like to be a trouble to others, so a lot of time when I feel people are impatient with me I stop asking. But she was really gentle and really nice. She made sure I am comfortable and made sure issue could be fixed. Thank you Emily.

From the time I entered the business I met the receptionist. She was very professional, took my information and gave me forms to complete. All employees were very kind and explained each procedure taking place. I then met with David to select new glasses. He was most helpful and answered all my questions. I look forward to receiving my new glasses. I am very pleased with my visit.

Rude and unwelcoming service. I won't be returning. Everyone I interacted with, other than the doctor, treated me with annoyance or nastiness. I ordered a pair of glasses but when they came in I returned them on the spot for a full refund. That might seem extreme but that's how extremely bad the service is. Highline Vision doesn't deserve my business. Beware when they ask you to sign the check-in form. They say the back of it is a "promotion opportunity," but really it is a consent form to share your personal information and data. The only "promotion opportunity" is them selling your data for their own gain. Please don't bother giving this review the copy /paste response. Clearly this means nothing: "Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Our goal is for every patient to feel comfortable shopping for eyewear and to receive the best eye care during their visit. Our leadership team receives all feedback to continue improving our patient satisfaction and eye care services."

Thank you for your feedback. Even though our responses seem like they are being copied and pasted, we do read each review and strive to improve our patient experience. We keep our responses more generic to comply with HIPAA and avoid disclosing personal health information.

With that in mind, we’re sorry to hear when a patient’s experience does not meet our high expectations for a positive patient experience. Bethany was exceptionally accommodating and scheduled me right away as my condition warranted a medical exam. Dr. Voigt is very knowledgeable, thorough and quick. Truly appreciated his candor and professionalism.

This review is for the eyeglass department. Was told after exam to go find some glasses that I liked and someone would be with me shortly. Waited for 30 minutes after finding a couple of pairs and no one was able to help. The only response given that they wish they could help me and couldn’t tell me how long I would have to wait. The doctors and staff for the exams are great but will have to find a place where I can do both at the same time
