Melanie is amazing. I just finished my fourth visit and 5 stars isn’t enough to describe the level of service. From the kindness of the front office to the hands on technical support I’m receiving, it’s all inspiring. I feel like I’m in safe hands after suffering my third TBI. The quality of care is impressive and Melanie is not only kind, she is through and uplifting. She makes the visits fun and utilizes the time spent well. I couldn’t be more pleased. Dan routinely steps in and adds calming insight during the often-disorienting concussion recovery process. His clear expertise in concussion management has given me the tools and patience necessary to see progress. Through PT, we have identified triggers and coping mechanisms for symptoms which impact my daily life. I can’t recommend Dan highly enough and am grateful he is on my recovery team.

I was experiencing balance issues/vertigo. My primary Dr told me about Dan Stoot and raved how he has helped so many other patients with this exact issue! Needless to say her rave reviews of his technique and him were spot on and so much more! After the first visit I pretty much felt 💯 better. I was amazed and relieved all at once! I have to say from the first call, EVERYONE I spoke with was professional , courteous, welcoming and supportive of each other. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by Cindy who was as welcoming and smiling as could be. I immediately felt comfortable. I received a phone call from Jessica as well who was exactly the same. Once I met Dan, his at ease nature and his knowledge and ability to explain in lay terms why my issue occurs was so refreshing. Just to be educated in a way I could comprehend was such a joy! You can tell he enjoys what he does and his sincerity was above anything I’ve ever experienced in a Dr like setting. He sent me on my way with detailed instruction's for me to do when home as well as set up a treatment plan that he felt would benefit me and made himself available to me at anytime if need be. Again not something any professional in his capacity offers. I genuinely could not believe how amazing I felt the following day and the days thereafter until my second visit. He was thrilled for me and sent me home with more exercises to help me continue to feel better leaving the door open if anything changes and I need assistance again! Upon leaving I had the pleasure of checking out with Davina! Cindy was also there and all I can say is what a nice group of ladies and a wonderful environment to do PT. I highly recommend them! Thank you Dan for making my spinning world not spin anymore and thank you ladies for being a great representation of what was to come after check in!

I worked with Dan back in February to correct some vestibular issues from a head injury, I was referred to him by Dr. Talaber at the Neuro-Vision Therapy Institute. He is the most personable, intelligent, empathetic person. He genuinely wants to connect with you as he guides you to wellness. He is insightful and lighthearted, and he seeks to build genuine bonds with his clients and his coworkers. I frequently spoke with him about his attending of different conferences in his specialty. This is someone who truly wants to learn the most he can and does it willingly in his free time. He also is completely validating as he understands the struggles that accompany a head injury. You are in very good, capable hands if you find yourself here at High Definition Physical Therapy.

Dan is the man to help you improve post-concussive symptoms when other providers either a.) can't or b.) don't believe you. Dan's treatments are different and better than any others for helping to improve cognition and balance. I have been through numerous treatment modalities, but the Gyrostim is what gave me my life back. Thank you Dan!

Working with Dan noticeably accelerated my recovery from post-concussive symptoms, after getting a concussion from a snowboarding accident where I was knocked unconscious for 5-10 minutes. I was resting and following a strict recovery protocol, yet I would go months at times without seeing any improvement. Was some deeply concerning stuff. While I was initially skeptical at how effective physical therapy could be, I figured by then it couldn’t hurt to give it a try. Interestingly and unexpectedly, I felt acutely more alert and more clear-headed after each session. Fast forward to now and I finally feel like the thick fog I’ve been stuck in since December is gone for good. Can’t recommend enough.

I went and saw Dan for therapy after a car accident left me with a concussion. Dan not only helped me heal but was such a cool person that it made wanting to go much easier! If I need PT again at any point, there’s no question I would come back and would send anyone I know and love here. The whole team is amazing!

I came to HDPT several months ago with long COVID symptoms (brain fog, memory issues, etc). Dan was amazing and I feel like my old pre-COVID self now. I would highly recommend HDPT for any physical therapy needs. Excellent and friendly staff!!

I was referred here for lingering effects I had from 2 vertigo episodes within 4 months of each other. I was really unsure what physical therapy would look like for this and if it would actually be effective. Dan is incredibly knowledgeable and within a month I tested much better than I did at first! I can now go home with my own exercises if things flare up/to maintain my balance. Very happy with this experience!

We were referred to HDPT after my 11yr old had a brain bleed caused from an accident. Dr Dan Stoot worked with him weekly for 5 weeks to improve his balance and cognitive thinking in a quicker manner. The appointments were always on time, convenient hours available before school and friendly staff. Parker feels more confident and we now have skills that we can use every day to help improve our focus and agility.

Had a severe concussion due to a car accident. Couldn't handle light or sound. Major brain fog, couldn't remember things, couldn't do any complex thinking.., it was awful! I sat in a dark, quiet room with a hat over my eyes for weeks. After a month of not getting any better, a friend recommended HDPT. I'm so glad I went!! I've heard of people having issues for life after a serious concussion. It took a few months, but I am back to normal 😁👍🎉 I no longer have any sensitivity to sound and light. There are some memories I didn't get back, but I am so relieved to be able to work and take care of my kids again. Thank you Dan!!!!

I was having pretty significant vestibular symptoms (constantly felt like I was on a rocking boat, dizziness, balance issues) and I noticed a huge improvement after just a few weeks of therapy. Dan is great and actually makes the sessions fun to get through! Highly recommend HDPT!!

Dr Stoot Is the best Vestibular physical therapist I have ever seen and I’ve seen almost a dozen. His use of the Gyrostim is top-notch, and he doesn’t have a cookie-cutter approach but customizes his use of very practical tools to go along side high-tech treatment options. He is the first doctor I’ve seen to give me tips on what to do to calm my disorientation symptoms in the middle of a strenuous hike and to give me very practical exercises that simulate walking. I now can hike with confidence on difficult terrain after 4 years of issues due to post concussive syndrome.

My partner was prescribed vestibular and balance rehabilitation due to complications from Long COVID. She worked with Dan at High Definition PT and, through hard work and dedication with the expertise and guidance from Dan, she has reached the plateau of her balance level and should not require additional vestibular PT unless we notice any regression. Dan was a consummate professional: kind, caring, clear in his communications, and willing to work with you to keep you motivated to make it to the finish line. We highly recommend High Definition PT for anyone requiring post-COVID or traumatic brain injury rehabilitation.

After a concussion I had vertigo and other issues with balance. I was helped by Alex and after a few months of therapy all of my symptoms went away. I am very grateful and happy with all of the help and would highly recommend Alex.
