Exact same experience with same person as mentioned by Alaina Collins. Made reservation several months ago. Arrived to location, and told by young woman at desk that she didn't have a reservation in our name. Provided the confirmation number and she then located it. Due to flight, we arrived 11/2 hours after reservation time. Told by Hertz on phone 2 days previously, that as we had prepaid for the car, they would hold it up to 24 hours, so no need to worry if delayed. Were given contract showing EV had 100% charge. Car was eventually brought out, Keys handed to us and told we needed to move car car as blocking traffic in parkinglot, and she moved on to customers who arrived after us. Went out to car and found out it had only a 17% charge, not 100% as stated on contract. When in to tell her this was not acceptable, and we wanted either 100% charge or a different vehicle. She then blamed the charge on the fact that we arrived an hour and a half after reservation, not the fact that they apparently had not realized we had this reservation and did not charge it. I've never heard of a Tesla not holding a full charge for an hour and a half! Car is also in very poor condition with damage to the interior steering wheel, not clean, and quite a bit of outside damage. She refused to give us another car, and directed us to a Tesla charging station. Arrived there with only 8% charge. Asked to speak with manager before we left and that was when we were told she was the manager! Worst customer service has she continued to talk back to us, and act like somehow it was our fault. Ask for a new contract showing only 17% charged. Said she did not have supervisors phone number, but gave us an email. No response to that email so call AAA Hertz dedicated #. Their customer service was better, and they said they would give us a partial refund when we turned in car. This was not the point, but they offered it up even though our point of the call was to identify the extremely poor service and vehicle provided. Haven't used Hertz in several years, and I understand why the reviews are so dismal.
