Very helpful! I called to schedule a service repair for my refrigerator because it stopped cooling but the man who answered was more than willing to give me his suggestion right over the phone so that I could try that before having him come out. What he suggested worked and I did not need anyone to come for service. He saved me money and time and the least I can do is leave him a good review. Very awesome. I will call him when I do need service in the future

Samsung refrigerators have a well known problem with ice makers freezing up. We have one of the problem ice makers. I had warranty service four times and the problem was never fixed. Boyd was able to repair the problem very quickly. He understood what caused the problem and how to fix it. I am a very satisfied customer.

I gave Boyd a call because of the other positive reviews. He lived up to the hype! He fixed my kitchenaid dishwasher at a very reasonable price. He even ran to the local ace hardware store because he saw that an electrical part was missing. I’d recommend Boyd to anyone. If you are reading this and unsure about calling, I say just do it.

This guy is awesome! He is a soloprenuer so his prices are way more reasonable than the bigger shops. He came the same day and fixed our washing machine that sounded like a rocket blasting off in less than an hour. Highly recommend for any appliance issues you have. Super honest helpful guy.

We had problems with our Fridge and Oven and were desperate for someone to come look at it ASAP. All the big companies were days out- Boyd was there in 30 minutes. I can’t stress enough that this is your guy! Super friendly and will beat anyone’s prices I promise you. He was able to fix both problems in a timely manner! Phenomenal service. I called Hero appliance because it seemed like the only place that wasn’t sending me to a call center. I got to talk with the person offering repairs. Boyd got to my house quickly and he not only looked at my fridge (including cleaning dust-ridden coils) but listened to/looked at slight concerns I had with other appliances all for the same service fee! He talked me through his everything worked and what to do to help everything run smoothly. He also looked up the best price for the part that needed replacing! Fair, honest, above and beyond service!!

We had an error message show-up on our Whirlpool front loader washing machine and gave Boyd a call. He was quick to respond and came by within an hour of calling. Boyd was extremely thorough in his examination of our washer trying to diagnose the problem. In the process, he went through every mechanical part of the washer and cleaned parts out that needed to be cleaned. He figured out what was wrong with the washer and ordered parts. As soon as he received the parts (about two days later) he came and installed them. In addition to fixing what was wrong (drain pump and a sensor) Boyd rebalanced the machine and it is working quieter and better than ever! His diagnose, labor, and parts charges were very reasonable/good value and he went above and beyond what was required. We would definitely recommend Hero Appliance and will use this company again in the future.

Boyd was so professional and so knowledgeable about our appliances. I called Boyd originally over to repair our refrigerator. He was quick and responsive and showed up within the hour. While he was repairing our refrigerator, I told him that I wish I had this great of service when it came to repairing our washing machine. I then explained how our washing machine went out of service two weeks ago and the company we called sent an technician out that knew nothing about our machine. At the end of the service call for the washing machine the machine was in worse shape than it was before we called. After telling Boyd this horror story of my last experience, Boyd said " you since I am here I will look at for you and won't charge you another fee". I have to tell you I was blown away that Boyd would help us resolve not one but two of our major appliance problems today. When it comes to your typical Service Repair companies, well let's just put it this way they can be sneaky, dirty, and do things to over-charge customers. Boyd Stephenson was amazing from our first phone call to final repairs. You can tell that he is very well educated in the appliances he is working on. Our Dryer was tumbling, but not heating up. He came out and had the front removed and the problem identified super quickly. He charged a fair price for his time and parts and made sure that everything was resolved perfectly. He definitely doesn’t cut any corners. We also asked him to repair our overhead microwave and clean out all of the tubbing connected to the Dryer. He was able to get everything done and efficiently. He was also very clean and respectful and explained the process as he worked so I felt educated and confident in his work. Boyd is also very kind and probably saved us $400 or more with everything he did. We know who to reach out to for any other appliance needs. Highly recommend.
