Do you know what sound a duck makes? That's exactly what we think of this NOT A REAL "doctor". Don't be lured in by his introductory pricing because he's all about up-selling his VERY expensive, weirdo services and you'll end up spending thousands for mediocre care, or you could end up feeling worse like my friend did.
Dr. Herfindahl is a healing practitioner and the staff are number one.
I needed immediate help and Dr. Herfindahl did not hesitate. He put me in to a three times a week treatment routine. I was in San Diego for just a few weeks before traveling to my next location. He gave me referrals for my next location. Compassionate people are what make life better.

Over the phone, this chiropractic office told me that my mom would get to experiment with the cold laser to see if it worked before they would proceed with the treatment plan.
This was an absolute and total lie.
They said they would only test out the laser after she committed to paying $6000 for a treatment plan.
When my mom told them they repeatedly confirmed she would indeed get to test out the laser…they refused to acknowledge that, and the chiropractor even got an attitude with my 70-year-old ailing mother who is in pain.
This place is completely unprofessional and they promised something they refused to deliver.
Shameful how they treated my mother.
We will never return and everyone should know how they treated my mother. Unprofessional and totally shameful.

The care I received was beyond expectation! The adjustments helped my back almost immediately but then adding the stem wave & laser on my knee helped in ways that I never thought I would feel since I had surgery back in 2016. They truly care about your health & well being there. The staff is amazing caring & always getting everyone with a smile. Would definitely recommend to anyone & everyone.

I've been going to Herfindahl Chiropractic for several years, first for chronic neck pain caused by multiple car accidents and recently for pain in my sacrum. My case is rather serious and somewhat unique, and I'm what's known as an "eggshell"! Dr. Herfindahl is a master at creating a treatment program customized for the individual patient. I'm pretty sure he's the sole reason I haven't needed a more invasive treatment, drugs or surgery. He's experienced, insightful, creative and brilliant. He also never stops trying to improve his offering of services by adding new devices (e.g. cold laser and Stemwave). He treats everyone with compassion and respect as he works to find a solution that works for his patients.
Dr Ashley has such a different approach to any other chiropractic I've been too. I have scoliosis and was struggling to hold my adjusting when was introduced to him. He is very thorough, detailed and precise. I don't know where I'd be today without his treatments!! I RECOMMEND him to ANYONE ! HE has changed my life , for the better . MWG

The doctor is amazing and the staff is great. Was temporarily in San Diego and my home chiro recommended this office. So very glad! I was suffering from severe neck and upper back issues accompanied by daily headaches. They got me in and started treatment immediately. Within a week I was already doing much better and with continued attention just kept improving. Can’t say enough about these folks. It was definitely an excellent treatment experience!
I started going to Herfindahl Chiropractic just before the holidays with pain so bad I could barely get around. In just a few short weeks of treatment I was remarkably better. Now, after a year+ of maintenance visits I’m consistently feeling great, with no more back and hip pain nor migraines. I am thankful to have found Herfindahl Chiropractic.
This doctor is wonderful! I am from out of state. The trip here was hard on me. The doctor and his staff were so kind and helpful. They consulted with my chiro back home. They took good care of me and helped relieve my pain a lot. The doctor really cared about my trip home and my future condition. I anticipated receiving X-rays and an adjustment for a reasonable $37, but my experience took an unexpected turn. After the X-rays, the doctor's consultation felt more like a lecture, pressuring me into committing to a staggering $5,000 expenditure spread across two months. This approach seemed entirely unreasonable, especially considering I already have insurance. It would have been appreciated if I had been informed beforehand that an adjustment wasn't guaranteed, contrary to what was initially communicated when I booked the appointment.
Potential customers should exercise caution, especially if without insurance, as the costs are exorbitant. The entire presentation felt overly focused on sales, and there was an expectation to enroll in a paid weekly course, demanding a significant time commitment. The communication from the doctor left me feeling uneasy, and the requirement to commit to the $5,000 package before even receiving an adjustment seemed counterintuitive. It's disheartening that I couldn't gauge the quality of care without first committing to such a substantial financial investment.
While the staff was generally friendly, I couldn't help but notice that their interactions felt overly scripted, almost robotic. This adherence to a strict script contributed to an unnatural atmosphere that detracted from the overall experience. It would have been more pleasant if there had been room for more genuine and spontaneous communication.
In my opinion, the whole experience felt like a waste of time and had a somewhat dubious, possibly scammy, undertone.
