do not use!!! this company needs to be closed, i can’t begin to explain how horrific the experience was. we used them to transport my brother from overseas back to london, at first the team seemed professional and responsive. then once we paid it began to all go downhill from there. the team at EMS lied continually throughout the whole process, they wasn’t answering the phone, they delayed us 3 times on the days they was suppose to be collecting him from the hospital, they informed us the private ambulance would collect him so we was expecting their ambulance of course, instead they sent a taxi! forgetting to mention he has broken pelvis and many other bones as to why he needed a private ambulance to stay flat. and then informed us if he doesn’t get in the taxi that’s the only form of transport for 30km until he can then get into the ambulance. we had to get him into the taxi panicking and risking further damage to just get him to the ambulance, and once we finally got to the ambulance it began to get even worse, asking my mother who was in the ambulance with my brother to smuggle alcohol through borders, they never had any medications on board, the ambulance wasn’t even a private sign written once it was a standard turkish ambulance. it was dirty, they slept on lay-bys when they was suppose to switch teams so ambulance kept going. they couldn’t have been any worse, honestly would be the biggest mistake of anyone using them it was a tragic experience and left us all very disturbed by what went on, and i can’t even go into detail if everything as there’s pages and pages of what went on with ems. please don’t use under any circumstances

BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE, of using this company. They definitely do not care about the well-being of the patient or changing circumstances when patients are suffering. They know exactly how to play at your heart strings and charge you more without the option to cancel for a refund. I tried to cancel with them and told me if I didn’t pay and extra $20,000 we would loose the entire original payment we placed. Sure the patient changed the situation as she was suffering but then the worst part is when they said they would be at the airport 10am they were not there, there was NO plane waiting at the airport and in fact the plane never left its destination to get to us. Eventually, they finally transferred the case to a different company as they could not deliver their agreement to be there at 10am. The patient then sat in an ambulance, waiting at an airport for the other company to pick us up for about 8-9 hours post surgery. No apology or even some compensation was offered for the patient’s suffering. They truly do not care about anything else or your family member. It’s truly the bottom dollar.eventually when the other company Reva Air showed up and they were fabulous, I definitely recommend this service through Reva Air but stay away from EMS air ambulance as they aren’t even based in the US! Picture is patient bleeding in ambulance waiting for 8-9 hours since they never showed up to pick us up!

When my adult daughter injured her back in Colombo, Sri Lanka, EMS were instantly available to help get her back home. They were super efficient which is more than can be said for Mayday, the medical rescue service associated with her travel policy from Sainsbury's - who still haven't reviewed her medical records from her GP nine days after she returned to the UK. They deliberately stalled and would not authorise anything, so claiming will be a nightmare. Thank goodness for the efficiency of EMS!

EMS Air Ambulance & Medical Repatriation were literally an answer to our prayers. No one could help us or give us the answers we needed when my mother needed to be repatriated to the UK from Germany, and at times it felt like a hopeless and extortionately expensive situation. The moment I called EMS, even before we booked them, they could not do enough to help and advise us. They offered the easiest and most reasonable quote (a big relief when in a situation with no insurance to cover it), and from start to finish, they were there to help and support our family. They briefed my mother the night before they picked her up to reassure her, they took over booking and contacting hospital in the UK, they managed the medical handover, handled all communication between the hospitals; there was nothing we had to do but send them details of the patient and any travel documentation. At times I really did believe it was too good to be true. But my mother is home and after a dreadful month, I cannot thank EMS enough. Everyone I dealt with was wonderful, compassionate and helpful. Worth every penny.

Meine Schwägerin hatte einen schweren Motorradunfall und lag in Kroatien im Krankenhaus. Auf Grund der komplizierten Brüche konnte sie dort nicht behandelt werden. Wir haben Kontakt zu EMS aufgenommen und tatsächlich sofort am Telefon sehr kompetente Ansprechpartner gehabt. Innerhalb weniger Stunden wurde der komplette Rücktransport nach Hamburg organisiert und äußerst professionell 1,5 Tage später durchgeführt. An Bord des Fahrzeuges war immer ein Arzt, der meine Schwägerin beobachtet und medizinisch versorgt hat. Selbst, wenn mal nach eine Tasse Kaffee gefragt wurde, wurde das sofort vom EMS-Team umgesetzt. Wir wurden ständig informiert, wo sich das Fahrzeug befindet und wann die Ankunftszeit sein wird. EMS hat sich auch komplett um die Aufnahme im hiesigen Krankenhaus gekümmert. Meine Schwägerin ist sehr gut im Hamburger Krankenhaus angekommen. Vielen Dank an das ganze EMS-Team. Ich fand den Service perfekt. Es war tatsächlich ein rundum sorglos Paket.

Wij zaten in een grote nachtmerrie toen mijn partner in het ziekenhuis in Frankrijk terecht kwam. Wij wilde hem zo snel mogelijk overplaatsen naar het ziekenhuis in Nederland. EMS heeft geregeld dat hij diezelfde dag nog over kon naar Nederland. Onwijs dankbaar voor dit kundige werk. 2 professionele medewerkers kwamen ons ophalen. Fantastisch werk hebben deze afgeleverd. EMS were amazing after my mum had an accident in Croatia and broke her hip. After the insurance company refused to fly her home we found EMS who sorted everything out to get her home. The paramedic Joe met my mum and dad in Dubrovnik hospital, he was very kind, knowledgeable and professional and understood the stressful situation and made them feel as ease. Whilest in Turkey on holiday my husband suffered a heart atttack, i contacted EMS Air Ambulance & Medical Repatriation by phone while there and they arranged everything for us to return home to the Uk for the treatment he needed. If im honest i was a little worried i may have been scamed, we had just paid out alot of money to a company i have very little knowlage of and had just quickly googled medical repatriation on the chance they would help us in our time of need, there was alot of trust that they was lagitimate company and not a con, and thankfully they was everyrhing i hoped for. I can't find fort with the service they provided from transport from our hotel in turkey to the airport through the flight and transport from the airport to our local hospital in the uk. Our Nurse who traveled with us was so calm and profetional at all time she put us both at ease from the very beginning. I cant thank everyone involved in making this happen so fast, from the first call to being home took just over 24 hours, we are both so greatful.
