Simply to put in words, it's an amazing location with an overwhelming view!
As you climb towards Parashar Lake, temperature drops down extremely fast. The hotel is located over a steep slope amidst apple garden. 10kms before the Lake, this place is a must visit location if you are planning to spend day in this region.
Roads towards this place are good conditioned tar roads.
The food is as always simple and wholesome.
Highly overpriced
We booked this property on mmt and paid 4100 something for a room for couple with minimal facilities. No TV, no phone, no dustbin in the washroom to throw toilet paper in, Just a large empty room with bed and two chairs. Also water in the washroom taps was dirty.
No local food was available and the items on the menu too were selectively available. Food whatever available was good.
Location of the property is good though for people travelling to prashar lake. It is at a distance of half hour from the lake. Also the view from place is good.
I think they pull up the prices too much online during the holidays so it would be better to contact the resort over phone to make booking rather than doing it online.
Also not all rooms are mud huts. I think real price for the mud huts here should be around 3 to 3.5k or 4k max during holiday season and for other rooms it should be around 2k or 2.5k max.

By the way, it has been a month today but I could not stop myself to give review of Heavenly Forest Resort, Prashar.
My family and I went to see the Prashar Lake, which is exactly 10 Kms ahead to this resort. Very peaceful location surrounded by greens, mountains and farms. The food is delicious interestingly; they serve organic food that is grown on their farm. Rooms are neat and clean and well maintained especially you will like the mud houses, which are modern from inside but depicts Himachali culture.
Do not forget to eat Sepuvadi ka dum, which is very delicious, also for nonveg lover there are local mutton dish on order. Staff is very cool and we like the hospitality the most. I fully recommend this resort for nature lover, peace lover travelers to at least one night halt on this property.
This is a restaurant located on the way to parashar lake. Approx 30 kms from mandi. They have mud houses available. Which has all the 4 star facilities.
Cafe was new and had limited menu because of less occupancy. Taste was good and quantity is ok.
The owner was nice person. Hygenic items.

Our stay was really great there. Rooms were so nice with very quick room service.
Environment is so pleasant with such a natural views nd fascinating surrounding. Food is also served very nicely nd all the staffs are so friendly nd nice and chefs r always ready to serve with your taste nd need.
Had an amazing experience!! The views from this place is all you need to relax and have the best time in and around parashar lake. The food is really great, specially their mutton(if pre-ordered). Additionally the rooms are neat and clean and so are the washrooms! Perfect place for a weekend get away!
