Harewood Panel and Paint Reviews

I had a disappointing experience at Harewood Panel & Paint. Initially, my car was assessed by Craig Duff, after which Anton Van Wyk instructed me to bring it back over the weekend for repairs, asking for a $650 cash payment. The job was to fix both the rear and front left sides and match the paint using a spectrophotometer. Shockingly, less than three hours after dropping off my car on the scheduled day, I was informed it was ready—a clear red flag. Upon picking up my car, I found significant colour mismatches and poor finish quality. It was clear that steps such as part removal, surface preparation (masking, sanding, cleaning, priming), paint application, blending, drying, curing, part refitting, quality inspection, and final grooming —which should have taken much longer—were either rushed or entirely skipped. When I expressed dissatisfaction, Anton ordered me to leave the premises and refused to give me a receipt for the transaction.

I’ve sent my Audi q5 twice to make the same job and they did it terribly, poor painting quality and detailed after finishing. They buff the painted parts and the panels were full of holograms and polish marks, also the plastics with compound of the buffing. Not even an average paint workshop. What you said in your response it’s not true or someone didn’t told you the complete story, I’ve arrange the job with Anton and I drop the car to your company, what your guys do in your company it’s not my problem it’s yours, as I said I drop the car in your company and not in Antons house. I got Craigs email saying that my car it will be ready that Wednesday at 2pm I was there at 2:30 and my car wasn’t finished, he forgot to wash it, I’ve came back at 4:00 and the car was in the conditions of my first comment, I told him that I’ll come back the next day at 4 so they can finish the job in perfect condition and I was there at 3, like you said, and they didn’t even touched the car. I think that your employees are not telling the whole story, I’ve got the emails if you want them. Cheers and stop defending the indefensible.

Had my car here for 10 weeks while waiting for a part to come from Japan, great service, kept in contact about where things were at. Gave me a loan car which I appreciated very much. Most impressed with the paintwork, it is showroom quality and they did an excellent job, much better than another company that had to repair extensive stone chip damage to my car a couple of years ago. I would highly recommend this company.

I overlooked a tree when parking and hit a large dent in the rear of my campervan. As I am insured, the claim was handled by the AA and as I was traveling, the damage assessment could only be done via photos. Craig was really helpful and answered all my questions with a lot of patience. Thanks to the team at Harewood Panel & Paint there is no sign of the dent. Great job. Thank you very much!

Harewood panel and paint is by far the best panel beater I’ve dealt with. Friendly staff, curtesy car, prompt communication and speed of repair made everything so easy to deal with. Last Thursday I stopped in at Harewood Panel and Paint to ask their advice regarding minor damage to my car. ( I had unfortunately hit misplaced road cones on Memorial Ave) The gentleman came out straight away took one look, disappeared into the workshop and came back with a tool… next minute my car was like new again!!! I was not expecting that at all!! Wow!!! I asked how much can I pay and he didn’t charge me 🤗 Seriously I cannot praise them enough.
