If you're considering a job at Hannah's Bretzels, be ready for a lack of proper training. You'll need to memorize more than 11 sandwiches in just a few weeks, work with coworkers who hardly speak English, and deal with managers who treat you poorly, especially if they think you're not fast enough. Norma is the worst manager you could encounter. She will compare you to other coworkers and belittle you in front of customers if you don’t meet her expectations. Wesley isn't as obvious, but he's just as bad. He will give you ridiculous tasks and complain about things nobody else had to deal with, then tell you that you're not a good fit for sandwich making LOL. I've seen him let go of respectful and hardworking employees just because he can. Also, steer clear of Alex Martinez; he’ll act friendly and gossip about other managers and coworkers to get information from you, only to report it back to Wesley. It’s not a good place for anyone who doesn’t want to feel like a low-level factory worker or be taken advantage of. 👎👎
I spent $422 on a corporate lunch and did not receive all of the items that I paid for. I received a confirmation email with a list of all the items that I ordered and still did not receive those items. When I came back to the store during my lunch meeting, I was told that I still had to pay for the additional salad that is already listed on my receipt as paid for. After leaving this review that Owner Florian continued to email me, harrassing me about their policy, instead of admitting the online ordering system is flawed and should have not allowed me to add items that were not optional. Florian was so out of line, I had to tell him to practice restraint as a business owner and leave me alone. I will never go back here. And they double charged me for my order. It's still pending from almost a week ago, and I believe Florian did so on purpose because of my review.
When the clock’s ticking and a hungry office needs catering, I can always rely on Hannah’s Bretzels to come in on time. I swear i’ve walked into this store with a line out the door, dozens of door shakers in the lobby, having placed my order 15 minutes prior—miraculously, they still get it done! The food’s great too… shoutout to Leslie, the friendly cashier, and the entire sandwich making line! You guy’s rock!
Overall, this was really good! There are just a few things keeping me from giving this 5 stars. I got the Smoked Turkey + Wisconsin Cheddar Bretzel in the Wecken size. The ingredients were fresh, but it was smaller than I expected. It was also dry and could have used a lot more aioli. The tomato soup was very good and much larger than I expected it to be. My only complaint about the soup is that they put the croutons on the soup despite it being a pickup order so they were soggy by the time I ate it. It would have been nice if they put them on the side.
Didn’t know what to expect but holy cow! Is good! Their winter alpine soup (seasonal) is super filling especially paired with amazing Serrano Ham Pretzel Bun sandwich. Wow the fig jam was not overbearing and the manchego was so yum. Could have been more manchego-y.
Did. Struggle with the kettle chips — they were a tad oxidized but that’s expected from any bagged deli chips.
V cute ambiance and everyone was so sweet!
They got a huge selection of imported and domestic fancy chocolates. YASS
I stopped in one time when I was passing through using Amtrak and it was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for offering gluten-free optionsn

Prices have gotten out of hand at Hannah’s, while at the same time the amount of meat on its sandwiches have gotten smaller.

Hello there! We wanted to respond to your comment that prices have gotten out of hand. Considering the ingredient inflation, labor inflation, and packaging inflation we are actually proud to be able to sell a sandwich still below between $10 to $12 per sandwich. Is that really soooo expensive? Consider this; we power all locations with solar and wind, we deliver in an electric car, all packaging is biodegradable or recyclable, we have an organic guarantee, all bread and pastry is 100% organic all the time, our meats are all antibiotic and growth hormone free, all the time, we pay a fair wage, provide health insurance, paid time off as any working human should enjoy. Considering it all we think that at $10-$13 per sandwich we are a steal, particularly when you compare that to other sandwich brands that have no commitment to ingredients, environment, or even working environment. Maybe this helps to have you reconsider. Much appreciated!
What a delicious Veggie Bomb sandwich. Very fresh ingredientes and the bread is the best… choose the multigrain baguette.

Thank you Ana! Much appreciated. The bread you chose is actually an organic whole grain baguette, a great source of protein and whole grain nutrition. Multigrain, while certainly a fine choice, is not necessarily whole grain, whole grain is what you want to look for as whole grains are a nutritional powerhouse for digestion and health. Much appreciated!
